1. I do not need another desk in my life, but that is an awful lot of desk for the money there!
2. We should be discussing who can pee highest against the wall, it would be much more useful.
3.
actually the octobans are to the side, on his left. They are clear acrylic and not so easy to see.
That's what I get for surfing before I can focus properly!
4. Nice, but the drummer needs to up his game. No octobans, no gong drum. Shocking
5. I used one MANY years ago. No matter what I did with it the output was PITYFUL. It got a lot louder when some sort of pressure was put on it. Mine followed the arch of the bridge with double sided sellotape. If it was given to you then I would experiment with putting one end under a bridge foot.
6. One of the comments on Youtube was that the sound has changed so much since those days. I presume that anyone who is going to go to the hassle of watching an hour long doc has half a clue about the subject under discussion. It has been a LONG time since I have been on the classical side, but if it has changed, what has changed?
7.
and a vid of Bakithi demoing some of the Graceland stuff. Great rhythm and touch.
That is some righteous tone right there!
8. I have an Audere preamp which has a kind of addictive low impedance switch on it. It is pretty addictive. I know nothing of the inside stuff. Is this do-able without using an Audere? Some sort of passive jiggery-pokery?
9. The impedance switch brings the grunt. Everyone should try one at least once.
10. Pic of the pickup. Pre-amp comes with black knobs.
11. Just watched the first 5 mins and had forgotten how bonkers it is to watch GK. I saw him live back in the day and he taught my teacher. Pretty startling technique right there.
12. Sorry, I cannot actually help with the OP, but happy Christmas to you as well!
13.
I'd buy it a drink first, a little small talk, compliment it on its looks and winning ways. Then hopefully on to dinner and who knows what else. But hey we all have different moves, you just gotta be yourself. You're a playa.
I am sad that I missed the opportunity to make this post
14. If anyone else fancies one then I have one for sale.

Not entirely sure what the bunny bass next to it is. But I'm sure it will be very fine

17.
I have a bow quiver for sale, if you're interested? PM Me!
Yey! Happy ending!

20. I honestly do not mind who buys it, but someone has already come up with the £ I'm afraid. Sorry.
21.
Owen, you still have the Alembic marked as "on hold". I assume that is what you are bumping here?
Oops. Thanks, edited now.
