Nope, I'm sick of telling people that I play bass for them to go 'OMG Can you slap like Flea!!!'. I agree with skankdelvar, no single individual is the best bass player.

Not sure if it was the same model but I used a BOSS Metal-zone once and it sounded alright. Obviously there was quite a large low-end loss, but it sounded like a synthy fuzz. If you do give it a go don't push the volume up to much, especially at first.

Though fair play to him, it fits in with the rest of the band very well and Hysteria alone has probably encouraged a lot of youngsters to start playing.

Its not like its going to become a staple of his sound, it's a fill in one song.
