    Just measured the one i've got, and it's 60" at full extension. Three inches wide and double leather thickness with suede one side and leather the other.

    Get your local news agent to order them in. They usually have the same suppliers as Smiths/Menzies etc. Mine gets me Bass Player.

    Seymour Duncan QuarterPounders. I use them on a cheap Squier as my beater bass, and i've never had complaints.

    Have a look at the Ashdown LG1000. 1000w into 4ohms. 2 x 500w power amps, parametric eq etc.

    If you have a shop called FREE SPIRIT near you, they stock Animal bags. I have a hybrid courier/laptop bag that i use on occasion for my Ashdown LG350. It carries that and quite a few other bits and bobs as well. It doesn't have too much padding, mind... but only cost £25!!!
