  1. Fender Mustang I V.2 Combo, which is the modelling amp I'm led to believe. £60 posted (not Hermes). Bought during lockdown to satisfy my need to be a frustrated guitarist, but no longer needed. Great nick and never left the house other than for the photos. Here are the specs.... 20W Modeling Amp. 1x8" Speaker. 18 Amp Models and 37 Effects. Onboard Chromatic Tuner. Headphones Output. Aux Input. USB connectivity.
  2. Bought a good old Behringer FX60 from Stew. Great price, good comms and fast delivery...... Excellent
  3. Here are some insurance pics for my JV (PB-62) neck heel and tuners dated Jul 83. Heel seems deeper and tuners & ferrules are different on mine. Obviously, there may be variations in them though, so who knows...
  4. Chris bought a pedal from me in response to his topic in 'Wanted Items'. Fast and easy transaction and a fast payer. Excellent, thanks.
  5. Bought a bass from him and it was a nice simple transaction with good comms........... he even drove for an hour to meet me halfway 🙂
  6. Ashdown Rootmaster RM-420 2x10 combo. Hardly been used from new this year and just ended up effectively sat about as a big ornament! A bit of a Covid purchase really. Nice and lightweight too for an Ashdown at 27kg compared to some of their other combos out there. The thing is as new condition and never left the house. It's currently in Hartlepool, but there's a distinct possibility it can be brought down to The Midlands (WS13 area) on the weekend of 3/4 July. Pictures aren't great, but I'm working away until the weekend. Would even consider swapsies with cash one way or the other for a Squire Precision VM or CV, Epiphone TB Pro or another PJ type bass (sadly not an affinity).

  8. Ale bought a Squire Esquire 50s Classic Vibe from me and it was a pleasure all the way through. Good comms, reasonable and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

  10. Thought I'd offer this up on here before I have to resort to eBay wanting their pound of flesh or the Facebook guitar selling groups where they just bicker, are all the 'most knowledgeable' people in the world or are generally a pain. Squier Esquire FSR Classic Vibe in surf green. As a frustrated guitarist the usual choice of a bass players lecky guitar is the Tele, but this goes that extra step to make it even more simple for us....... one pickup, but still has a three-way selector for (1) pickup direct to jack with no tone control (2) pickup with tone control and (3) pickup with a warmer tone. Great condition and I'll post it free of charge (not Hermes).
  11. Joe bought an Ashdown RM500 from me. The transaction went great..... good comms, very reasonable discussion and a prompt payer. Highly recommended.
  12. Ashdown Rootmaster RM500 Evolution. Used, but in good condition with just a few light marks on the outer casing (see pics). Just don't use it any more as I've gone valve, so priced to sell and be of use to someone else. In no dire need to sell, so no daft offers please like you can get on those Facebook selling sites 😉 Price includes postage as I can use my other half's courier contract (not Hermes by the way) 🙂
  13. A bargain at £45. I'd pick this up if I lived down that way. Proceeds to the school charity too. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194096722183

  16. Bear with me though, so I can find it again, as I had a clear out. I'd like to think it is still there.
  17. Yamaha BB-734A in translucent matte black complete with its original Yamaha gig-bag. Great basses, but needs to be moved on to someone who'll use it as I have a Yamaha BBPH, which has many similar parts including the same active/passive preamp. Set up with 100-40 round-wounds if I recall. Great condition but with a few light marks on the scratchplate, as you'd expect from a bass that's been played. Happy to post free of charge, but don't worry......... not with Hermes 🙂 Having said that, I'd happily knock a few quid off for Covid friendly collection or a nearby handover. I'm working away until Fri 9 Apr, so should it sell before then there may be a few days delay in me being able to get it sent.
  18. Bought a job lot of new D'Addario strings from Graeme. Good comms and fair & good to deal with. Highly recommended.
  19. Tom bought a Squier CV Precision with a CV Jazz neck from me. Good comms, prompt payment and hassle free. Highly recommended.
  20. Squier Classic Vibe Precision in walnut with Classic Vibe Jazz neck...... Yep, an odd one. The Classic Vibe Jazz neck, which is only a year old, is the doing of the original owner who moved on the original Precision neck. Only selling as I've recently acquired one of the original CiC Classic Vibe 70s Precisions still with its original neck......... Jazz necks aren't really my thing. Set-up with Rotosound 100-40 nickel plated rounds. I moved the bridge a couple of mm, as for some reason the E string was further from the edge of the fretboard than the G, but all is now ok as you can see. Happy to post free of charge (not Hermes), can collect under whatever Covid restrictions are in at the time if you want a quick test noodle or drop off if nearby.
  21. 2003 G&L Tribute ASAT Special. Made in Korea I've been told by the G&L types. Good condition and comes complete with a Gator hard case. It's a subtle blue/black burst with a stock pearl white scratchplate (the only other I've seen in this colour is a fully-fledged US one). Has a few lacquer scratches etc you'd expect from a guitar of this age and hopefully they show in the photos. Sometime in its life a four-way selector switch was fitted - three work as you'd expect on a Tele type guitar (Bridge, Both, Neck) and the fourth seems to be very similar to Neck, but to my deaf ears seems a smidge warmer (I could be wrong as it's competing with ringing.... lol). My understanding from G&L spotters is that the four-way wasn't stock fitted. Happy to post at buyers expense in a manner/way of your choosing (I can supply options, but not Hermes), collected or dropped off if nearby, with the latter two in a Covid friendly way.

  23. I'm sure it'll eventually play havoc with the minds of the 're-string police' and one will buy it just so they can trim them and wrap the 1st string round the tuner the other way 🙂
