  1. I replied to his post looking for an EBS Chorus. Good comms, reasonable and a prompt payer. Excellent.
  2. Peter bought an MXR pedal from me. Good comms, reasonable and a prompt payer. Good stuff.
  3. Excellent. Geoff bought a pre-amp from me, was prompt with payment, very reasonable and good comms.
  4. Excellent. Luke bought a pre-amp from me, was prompt with payment, very reasonable and good comms.
  5. He's a bit of a rocker 🙂 I recall seeing a Gary Kemp programme not too long ago on Mick Ronson, as he was a massive fan. He was like a kid in a sweet shop when at the end he got to play Mick Ronson's sanded down Les Paul, which now lives with a collector.

Excellent. He was looking for a pedal and I had one to move on. Good comms, price agreed and it was all paid and posted within 24hrs.
  7. Excellent! Good comms, polite, reasonable and reliable. Bought a pedal from me and paid promptly with no bother.
  8. These play better than Fenders in my opinion having had both. I still have a Limelight 62 P-Bass and used to own this very one shown here....... I even fitted the ToneStyler in it. This one plays great and makes me wish I'd not sold it, but had too many at the time 🙂 The chap I bought it from was the one who placed the order originally and I only got it from him when he decided to go back to a Jazz, as he was a big Jaco fan.
  9. Excellent. Good comms and a pleasure to deal with.
  10. Xotic Effects Bass RC Booster in excellent condition and complete with original box. £60 posted.
  11. Never sold on a bass that was so popular 🙂
  12. Sorry, forgot to include it....... 10lb or 4.6kg.
  13. Ideally sell, but you never know. Depends what for. PM me.
  14. 1981 Yamaha (Super Bass) SB-500S complete with original hard case. My understanding is that these were only made for several years at the end of the 70s and early 80s (78-82 possibly) and with the 2 x single coils was intended to be like a J-bass........ but with a P-Bass neck width at the nut (42mm). Having had Fender Jazzes in the past I think this sounds better. There is a serial number on the back of the headstock, but as with a lot of their basses around this time the stamping in the wood is very light, however can be clearly seen when the light is on it. Good condition for a 39 year old bass and the body has only a few light marks. The back of the neck has a few marks where a previous owner in its life must not have had a guitar stand 🙂 Original case, which given its age is in very good condition. Frets have been leveled recently and the truss rod works fine. These things had weird truss rod adjustment in the heel of the neck, so I'll also throw in the socket tool for that. I'll post it for free too.
  15. Line 6 Variax 700 Bass complete with original Line 6 soft case and XPS-DI power unit. A copy of the manual is with it too, but you can get that online anyway. The only thing I can say about these basses are you effectively get a bass collection in one bass with all it can offer, plus you can save settings on the bass for each model of bass it offers and using the blend control you can tweak it to what you want. I bought this as at the time I needed a Rick sound, but didn't want to have to put up with a Rick itself..... if you get my drift. Just not being used any more. It's been used, so has a few light marks on the lacquer etc. These seem to vary in prices and the power units are usually missing, so I think the price is reasonable. I'll post it for free also 🙂
  16. Bought an older Korean made SB-2 Tribute from Gareth. Good comms and an easy transaction. Well packaged bass too sent by a decent courier. Thanks.
  17. Darkglass Microtubes 900 amp in excellent condition, which comes in original box with packaging, power lead and paperwork. Also included is the footswitch that came with it, although no lead for that, as it never came with one and I've never used it (still in its little plastic bag!). Only selling as I've gone tube and it's too much of a luxury to keep as a spare. Free postage with UPS Next Day, although 'Next Day' in the current climate may be the day after that with how busy the couriers are.
  18. Origin Effects Cali-76 Compact Deluxe Compressor in excellent condition complete with box and paperwork (& original foam packing!). Unfortunately, no power adapter because it never came with one when new. This pedal speaks for itself and needs no explanation in this forum. Only selling as I'm going back to the MXR bass compressor and this is too much of a luxury to have sat about and deserves to be used by someone else. Price includes postage Special Delivery, but if you want anything different the cost will be at your expense, obviously.

  19. Darkglass Microtubes B7K in excellent condition and complete with box. Well looked after and not abused etc. Unfortunately, no power adapter because it never came with one when new. Not sure I need to explain this pedal to people in these forums, but it's a quality item. Happy to post at cost in whichever method you want at your own expense and risk, obviously.
  20. Passive at 34" scale. Other controls? Here we go: The large toggle-switch is the pickup selector - Neck/Both/Bridge. Stack control (near centre) - Neck pickup Vol & Tone. Stack control (near bridge) - Bridge pickup Vol & Tone. The mini-toggle switches are for each pickup for what Aria called their 'Dual Sound', but known to us as Series/Parallel. My understanding is that if the pickup selector is in the central position (both pickups) then only one of the 'Dual Sound' mini toggle-switches will operate affecting both pickups........ but I may be wrong and open to input from those with better Aria knowledge (I'm a Precision man normally, so not many controls to worry about) 🙂
  21. Here's the weight (heavier than I thought, but with great sound comes great weight it seems with ash): 4.7kg or 10lb 3oz.
  22. There's no constantly same weight for these (they seemed a bit random in weight), but will pop in here when I weigh it.
  23. I'm not with it at present, so will weigh it later when in. Something makes me recall it was 9lb and a few ounces. That's the late 70s ash versions for you 🙂
