Fender Precision Neck (MIJ) - 1984-87 - *SOLD*

Fender Precision Neck, Made in Japan.  Ser No dates it to 1984-87.  Maple neck with rosewood fretboard.   To me it feels and appears to be a D-profile neck, but could be a C (see pics), either way it's quite shallow and nice to play.

I've had this for some time now and used it on a build but I ended up swapping for a roasted maple neck instead.

I'll throw in postage (not Hermes).

Truss rod works fine, frets levelled, dressed & polished.  The truss rod as you can see is in the heel and operated with a 5.5mm or 1/4" Allen key.  It's actually quite a sensitive truss rod with even the slightest turn having quite an effect.

It's had a bone nut fitted during its time at some point, which although only a decent job it was fine when fitted to one of my basses.

Original gloss lacquered finish on the maple which has aged a bit as you can see from the pic where I removed a tuner.  I was always baffled by the tuners as they are slightly different but my knowledge of MIJ mid-80s Precisions is limited.  I thought they'd been replaced, but they're the original ones as you can see from the drill holes and the 'non-aging shadow' left when I removed one.
