It's Lemmy's Rickenbacker signature model.

And if it's an M2.5 than the UNC equivalent will be 3-48 or if it's closer to M3, it will be UNC 4-40. Imperial measures are quite a nightmare when you're not used to them. 😉

By the way, there's loads of information about original Kramer here (I chose the parts section): http://www.vintagekramer.com/parts.htm

@Andyjr1515, my 2013 Leduc U-Contrebasse 6 EUB has EMG pickups at the end of the fingerboard and adjustable via a locking screw. A bit like @RonC Safran bass (I owned one, but sold it as I'm Leduc aficionado and endorser).

SamIAm - mystery solved (unhappily)

She deserved more than this, she was a really lovely person and 63 years old is way too young. May you rest in peace Samantha. -
A very sad loss, we exchanged a bit after the flat fire and she was a lovely and kind person. May she rest in peace.

Strangely nobody mentions what could be called the superstars live issue, which is full playback totally mimiced to supposedly not disappoint their fans. I guess it's what he's been doing since the beginning, hence Danny Sapko's comment about his not so great ability to play live for real in real footage...

@itu IIRC, the piezo pickup was invented by Lloyd Loar to amplify mandolins when he was working for Gibson in the 1920's... So nothing new under the sun. 😉

Noguera Expression 4 Fretless first generation from the 90's with a new Delano Sonar 2 preamp (the original was not working correctly and has been binned) and original Bartolini Jazz Bass single coil pickups in large wenge covers as well as wenge knobs. The fingerboard has been dressed very recently allowing for a low action and very straight neck. The bass has been used a lot and is showing signs of use, wear and dings: it's a player and a fantastic one! The new price when still available, as Christian NOGUERA is now retired, was €1890 EUR!!! OPENED TO TRADES! NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE! Asking price including fully insured shipping with tracking number, to your home, in these European countries (ask for other countries): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (excluding DOM -TOM), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom: €950 EUR (£825 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros)!!! Shipping to the UK is of course possible and included in my asking price, but with additional customs charges (VAT + other taxes + courier costs), as the UK is now outside the EU. Here are the specifications : Body: 2 pieces bubinga Neck: 3 pieces hard maple, the center piece being flamed Fingerboard: Gabon ebony (12" radius) Positions: 24 with a very small line at each one of them on the side, dots at each one of them at the second octave on the treble side of the fingerboard, and dots at the fretted positions on the side Headstock: 2+2 Tuners: Gotoh GB7 Pickups: original Bartolini Jazz Bass single coil in large wenge covers Preamp: Delano Sonar 2 Controls : active/passive switch, volume, blend, bass and treble (turning into a real tone in passive mode) with optional wenge knobs Bridge: original wenge 2 separate pieces Noguera Strings spacing at bridge: 19 mm Nut: wenge + zero fret Strings spacing at nut: 11 mm (width 42 mm) Scale: 34 inches Hardware colour: black Truss rod: one, single action, 100% functional Finish: oiled and waxed Country of origin: France Serial number: EXP 4090 Year: 90's (1992 at the earliest) Weight: 3.655 kilos Action : from 1.5 mm under the G string to 2 mm under the E string at 12th position (can even go way lower if you shim the neck, but was perfect for me) Will be delivered in a brand new Fame gig bag Antique Deluxe in faux brown leather. Non-smoking environment as usual. The bass has been fully set up, shielded (dead silent) professionally and the fingerboard has been dressed too. It has a new battery and has received a new set of nickel plated D'Addario EXL165 strings (45-65-85-105), which really serve this bass. What you see is what you get! Look carefully at the photos taken from different angles and lights to see the real condition, which is used with wear and dings, with some light ones at the back of the neck. Here is the link to 20 photos in high definition: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1C3RzDZolyTv6L_q1TstZU7s2LSc1nYD6?usp=sharing Due to severe back problems (67% officially disabled because of it) plus left and right shoulders injury (it's really painful to reach the tuners), I'm selling all the basses I'm not using like this one as well as some stuff I don't use. I've also considerably lowered the price for a quick sale. Don't hesitate to ask for more, but, please, before asking read my ad first as the answer is certainly already in it!
