  1. Hopefully, you don't understand the lyrics... 🤦‍♂️
  2. Did you type with a delay delay delay delay delay delay delay delay ?
  3. It's typically German, from Austria originally, but used in Bavaria and Switzerland too. That said, I thought about this terrific tune too. The intro by Jan Akkerman is a bit of a mess here, but when Thijs van Leer starts in, Jan gets back to the main riff allowing Thijs to yodel with a strong ... Dutch accent.
  5. Hi Tony, it's an upper register extension here, the way Rolf Spuler imagined it.
  6. Sorry, my fault, typical Belgian second degré. 😉
  7. Rolf Spuler 1990 design (also on fretted basses) :
  8. Who the f*ck is Pete Wentz ? Squier and Fender have really weird endorsement politics with people known by people who know them...
  9. Not sure what you mean with the thumb position, @Happy Jack ... Everything looks to be a righty from the start including the strings anchoring and cutaway. I do really like it.
  10. Franck Black or Kim Deal ? 😎 But wasn't it white dust ?
  11. It should be a plug'n'play... It's their original 120V transformer inside. Just hoping it has the same colour code wires or that there's a colour code wires chart coming with it.
  12. I prefer this one from Falco. Took me a while to understand what he was really singing in Austrian German.
  13. I said tend... 😉
  14. @6feet7 is wanting to "dirty up" his sound. This is exactly what Bartolini pickups do : "dirty up" the sound as they are really muddy pickups and through an all valves (tubes for the others) SVT on its dedicated 8x10" you'll get the ultimate swine sound that so many people love. And I've had dozens of basses with Bartolini's... That said, I've always found Delano pickups too polite too. Nordstrand's are gritty, but not dirty. EMG's could get harshy, but not dirty.
  15. Bartolini ! Through an SVT, the absolute swine sound !
  16. He won't even notice it !
  17. @dmccombe7 and @thestick were looking for one. I don't know if Dave will answer due the circumstances...
  18. Never buy new batteries for your active bass, borrow the new ones in your guitarist's distortion pedal.
  19. I like the process a lot, but, because there's always a but, I find that CNC machined instruments tend to always have sharp angles and designs too. They still do a lot of things by hand at Lignum (literarily firewood in Latin, no kidding, but has become wood by extension) which is very good as only a human brain can correct these perfection, yes perfection, issues. That said, @BassNugget the pickups on this very fretless bass are the Fishman Fluence. 😉 https://www.fishman.com/portfolio/fluence-bass-soapbar/
  20. Vanderkley is better. 😉
