  1. Are you interested in trade offers at all?
  2. I know, in a weird way I hope it does have a 1.5in nut........
  3. If it's got a jazz width nut then I'll have to pass, but if it's 1.625in, then lordy lordy, look out!
  4. Clipped form the vid, it also has a hipshot d-tuner on the E, and Vol / Tone / 3-way selector. Wonder if it'll be US made?
  5. Yeah I watched that last night too. The prototype in the rig rundown vid had a rosewood/pau ferro fingerboard with white/pearl blocks, but the same otherwise. Not fussed on it with a maple fingerboard AND coloured headstock though. I'm a sucker for a signature Bass.....
  6. This is my Mrs' birthday. Hope she enjoys herself!
  7. Has anyone one here ever sourced extra long intonation screws? I changed the neck on a Bass of mine and the replacement vs original has a bit more wood after the last fret. I can get the intonation correct, but the screws are only then half-way thru the saddles.... Trying to avoid having to re-drill to move the bridge forward... Any other ideas?
  8. Sure I've see Richtone music selling them.....
  9. Perhaps a touch of compression before the mojomojo? might help, might not.
  10. Just done a quick search and nothing really. Coda music are doing the LT for £729 but PMT and a few others do it for £739 anyway.. https://www.coda-music.com/black-friday/line-6-helix-lt.html
  11. Good grief, that's lovely. Mark really does fantastic work. I had one of the US Geddy's for a while, but ended up selling it on. Even though the neck is quite chunky, I've (after a very long and expensive time) realised that Jazz width nuts really aren't for me....
  12. Indeed!!
  13. Have I got my terminology wrong? I meant like a pinned post / always at the top etc.....
  14. Just to add, this thread is a great idea and must qualify to become a sticky!?
  15. Yep, Mark is a truly decent bloke.
  16. That's really rather nice. Well done.
  17. Ha indeed Dan, actually thinking about it, it is more likely to be Erik Arko. Another top chap. How long can I hold off getting a Helix?!?!?
  18. That'll be the one and only Jon Willis I should imagine. Great bloke.
  19. Yes as far as I can tell, you can split the signal inside the unit. You could also use the effects return as a second input if you have a 2 output bass like the Yamaha Attitude.
  20. Yup I've been thinking the same, Full version or LT. As far as I can tell, the main advantages of the full version are more ins/outs, it also has a mic preamp, the scribble strips, and 10 stomp switches vs 8 on the LT. What I'm really interested in is the ability to split the input signal, treat them differently and them sum them again at the output, I like to use the Billy Sheehan type of sound, where you have 2 separate signals. A clean low end signal with highs rolled off, and then a separate high frequency signal, which gets the distortions / modulation effects. It looks like the possibilities are endless for this sort of thing in the Helix.
  21. Also added info in the OP about another PX option. I'd also consider a Line6 Helix / Helix LT in Part Exchange. Thanks!
  22. Cheers Walshy, 'twas indeed a good year! Also here are the original Pics, lost during the site migration...
  23. Mr Big on Sunday
