  1. The Reverend thread has got me big time. Got a holiday and xmas to get out the way first though. Decision P in Venetian pearl please and thankyou.
  2. Wow, just wow 😲 That is utterly gorgeous! Whats the going rate for a kidney these days? pretty sure i can get by on one
  3. I do yes , a few miles along the coast but not far, maybe 10-12 miles from where the pic was taken. My friend stays in Leven and its a nice walk along the coast towards Elie. Have yet to try the chainwalk there
  4. Not much i'd agree , but like anywhere it has its downsides. Thought that was close , often a couple of friends and I walk out that way on a nice day. Lovely place. Hope you enjoyed your stay!
  5. From where that pic was taken it looks like it wasn't far from me. Where in Fife did you visit? Also, sorry about Fife
  6. +1 for Harley Benton , price to quality comparison they currently cant be beat if you ask me
  7. Hadn't noticed until you mentioned it , now its all i can see when he is on camera
  8. I have never been a huge fan of Jaco myself , i always assumed it was all just weird jazz widdly stuff. Then i stumbled across a video on youtube where he is discussing his gear , his inspirations , his techniques etc. Very interesting and i have a new appreciation of his abilities. Apologies if it has been posted before
  9. Relieved to see its not another Lori Maddox situation
  10. This one https://reverb.com/uk/item/57051382-fujigen-fgn-neo-classic-npb10mah-made-in-japan-2022-vintage-natural
  11. The cyclic thing is the truth , there are cool people in every generation
  12. I saw a Squier Telecaster recently on a subreddit called r/guitars that was even more noticeable and that was down to the wood used
  13. Sounds like they want to hear it in winter as well. Tell them the can listen for free if they provide the snacks
  14. I work as an engineer in a large fast paced food production facility and this place makes it look like a corner shop
  15. For someone thinking or considering taking up bass i'd suggest second hand or something far cheaper than 2k. Yamahas are excellent basses and there is no shortage of them for sale. Such as this one: You have come to the best place for advice. Undoubtedly someone else will come along with some proper recommendations for you. Have fun shopping around!
  16. How does something like that even happen? who could possibly have thought that is a good idea?!?
  17. Wow thats a real beauty! Had it been later in the year i'd have torn your arm off for this. Good luck with the sale , i don't think it'll be here for long
  18. This is what i bought for my recent P bass sorting out, excellent shims if a little on the pricey side for what is essentially a wafer of wood
  19. Oh wow that's really nice! is it a G&L? or have i misidentified the bridge perhaps... Edit: any chance of a NBD thread on this? genuinely interested in this , particularly this colour combination
  20. Yeah they can be fun. They can also be annoying , but being irrationally angry at something i can just turn off is a non starter for me. One i watched a few months back was a nice posh lady who was listening to Panteras Cemetary gates. I enjoyed it. Edit: one channel i do really enjoy watching is Pat Finnerty, he does the whole Beato thing (sort of) but with humour. Great vids, especially the "what makes this song stink"
  21. Reckon you're on the money there Mr Bunion sir. A good setup solves many woes
  22. I have both , not fussed over either really. As long as the bass plays well, to me that's the main thing
  23. I currently have a thing for fretless and the ones i'm drawn to are waaay out of my price range, not that i'm looking to buy anything right now but i sure like looking. This one is currently top of the fantasy want list...
  24. Iron Maidens song lyrics are cringey and cheesy Dave Mustaine was the real talent in Metallica
