3. Played The George II in Luton. Beset by technical problems, tripped the cut off switch, battery died in wireless transmitter (didn't have time to check it, as had it repaired and it was brought back during soundcheck, which we had to do as we went on), guitarists amp packed up. But we rose above it all, and the crowd screamed for more. Well maybe not screamed, but we got an encore.

 5. It looks nice enough, post some clips when you get it, or maybe a review?
 6. Does Tony Levin use his signature model OLP? If it's not good enough for him, it's not good enough for me. For me that applies to all who have a signature instrument but don't actually play it.

 8.
Bwahahaa!!!!! My old Nan could do a better faking job than that!!
True, but isn't your Nan the multi-millionairess leader of an international fine-art/antique forgers ring .
 9. Started off on classical guitar. I found the classical technique transfers better to Bass than electric guitar. I've been in bands where the guitarist couldn't play the stuff I wrote (which I never thought was that difficult).
 10. Rich no! I've played this and it is awesome, the neck is so easy to get on with and it sounds fantastic. I'm amazed you're letting it go.

 18. I have had dealings with this gentleman. Splendid fellow who I would be glad to have a pint of real ale with.
 19. cgordonfreeman bought my Carvin 5er. Smooth transaction, felt secure enough to ship the bass before payment had been completed. Can recommend.

The original bass was custom made to be heavy ( ) now I had traded it from vxmaxblues, but the bloke he got it off had a new neck made for it - by Mike. I've got Mike to make a new body for it, so it's still an Iceni, just not the original one, maybe custom? Look it's an Iceni made by the guy who makes Iceni's
F F Sake *never* get a Banjo, your only one step away from a straw hat, rocking chair and pleasuring little piggies.....
