2.
I've had one of those metal clip things break on me before. I always carry that bag by the handle now, I don't trust the remaining strap.
+ happened to me on Sunday
 3.
I've edited it for you.
I was being ironic
 4.
I think that we should give it some time and hopefully the guys and gals working on it will get it right. Jez
the mag has been going for a few years now, how much more time do they need? They have a captive audience, things should already be as right as they can be. And I don't care if the Guardian has spelling mistakes and typo's too, that doesn't mean it's ok for BGM to have them.
 5.
"Envy is the art of counting the other fellow's basses instead of your own. "
I've edited it for you.
 6. The bass I'm currently having built, has all the features I like from different basses, but all on the one bass with a few ideas of my own thrown in. So I couldn't buy anything similar without something being missing. These features are not just about playability, they are about the aesthetics too. So it it worth the money? Well it is to me. Could a cheaper bass do the job just as well? Not for me, but then again neither could a more expensive one. Will the punters notice a difference between my bass and a cheaper one? Certainly aesthetically, tonally probably not. Will I notice the difference? Hell yeah! And that to me is what it's all about.

 8. one of those dodgy long haired types and a Basschat Moderator! Best stay well clear... Nah obviously just joshing, I bought my pointy Hamer off him on Saturday, met up in a Bristol train station and had a chat before heading back to that London. Top bass, top price, top bloke
 9.
My 6th Birthday. Weird!
all the more weird, because if you write it backwards you get 7 8 9 10 11 oh bu993r! Just realised I should have put 1st October 1987! Doh

 13. I had the Dalek. A m-500 head into an 8T and 16B. Awesome tone, it's all there, if anything there is too much tonal choice . I miss the limiter too. I only got rid of it because it wouldn't fit in to my new car.
 14.
Assume that increasing the rate of decay will lead to a higher attack setting?
15. Just wondering what peoples preferences are and why. I think on an amp I've never had a great compressor, but I used to love the limiter on my old PJB M-500, just one pot, simple and effective. But in terms of fattening up the sound it has to be compression?
 16. email from Jon: We're not far off, I'm hoping I'll get most of it together this weekend. All the 'making' is done and its just a case of assembly. I have to spray the headpiece but thats a quick job. If I get it all together this weekend then it should be ready for you in about 10 days from then, just so it has plenty of time to settle down and I can do any necessary adjustments to the setup. so only 2 weeks to go

 18. Just got one and I'm loving it Love the dirt blend, and the player settings in the instructions, and the fact that it fits in my gig bag.

 20.
I was once told that i stand like a bassist. Still not sure what he meant by that.
at the back out of the way
 21.

I like the way it is now, kinda reminds me of Vernon Reid's ESP guitars in the 90's and Steve Vai's plastecine Jems.

 23. when you understand why the C string on a 6 string bass is a C, and not a B, as on a guitar.
