1. Sorry I can't see that from the phone app.
2. I agree 👍. I have Chromes on my jazz. Gives a mellow sound to counter the bright single coil pickups.
3. Where are you? Thanks.
4. I totally agree cables make a big difference to your sound. I use The Chord Company Cream cables that are designed by a bass player and made in Salisbury.
5. Where are you based. I would like to check out the bass. Thanks.
6. I'm based in Sandhurst. How often do you gig and can I have a sample of the set list. Please Pm me. Thanks.
7. It's in Devon.
8. You are so unlucky. I feel your pain. Go have that brandy.
9. Thanks for all the answers but I now have the correct answer. The manual is wrong in saying it is a preamp clip light as it is a clip light for the power amp section. It lights when power section starts to clip ( distort). Clear as mud. 😉
10.
From the manual - When the Clip light turns red it indicates that the preamp is being driven into clipping. Clipping can be a desirable characteristic, depending on your taste. If you would like a cleaner sound you can experiment with the input pad, Gain, Drive, and Tone Controls. All of these things, including the output level of your bass, affect how often the light will go off. Clipping the Tone Hammer 350 will not cause any shutdowns or damage to your amplifier. That should clarify it!!!
I agree, it should come on when the preamp is overdrive. BUT... A few people have said it is the power section????? If anyone has a 350 can you check with your amp. Thanks.
11. Guys, Can someone with a tone hammer 350 amp tell me if the clip light comes on when the preamp or power amp is overdriven as mine does not light up. I think it is supposed to light when the preamp starts to distort. Thanks.

13. Come on...let us know. Which is which.
14. I think the first one is the P and second is the Maruszczyk. or is it....
15. Just down the road from me. I feel gas.
16. Where are you based. Thanks
17.
I don't own any Taurus gear, but I know their stuff enough to have an opinion. IMHO they are just like Mayones are in bass guitars category. Modern, hi-fi sound with some unique features, that you might or might not like. The sound is clean and solid, VERY punchy, with bright top end and solid lows, a little bit dry. I prefer more "wet" "soft" and "mid-oriented" sounds (Ampeg!) There's nothing wrong with them, but I'd never use them for my P-bass, especially with flatwound strings, whereas I'd have no troble using Tone Hammer, which I find richer and warmer sounding. IMHO they are made for modern and/or heavier music.
You are right. The description is spot on.
18. I had a combo amp based on a valve preamp design that sounded very good. Had a tight modern punchy sound. Really miss that combo. Looking at the Qube 300 myself. 😀
19. I don't understand it either. You don't go into a music store and ask for a 3.5kg P bass do you. I think we are getting obsessed with all things light weight. We should stop obsessing and get on with playing.
20. Listened to it this morning with my work colleague. We both agreed that it sounds very much like all his output from the past, expect a few tracks where he was trying to do a different style but fails so badly. We won't be buying it for this reason.
21.
Coz its wicked brewtal innit. (No idea)
Like he said.. I think.
22.
Nice! Those Haussel's are lovely if some of the online sound samples are anything to go by.
I've tried many pickups and the Haussel sound fantastic with the added bonus of Rosewood covers to match the neck.
