    I mean it is a project for someone to fix the preamp or replace it. It is a MusicMan Stingray 5 from 1993 with a broken preamp. I have removed Project from the title.

    I have for sale my Stingray 5 with a faulty preamp. I have taken the preamp completely out and wired the pickup direct to the output socket. The preamp therefore will need fixing or replacing. I could take the neck off for postage and it will be sent without strings. Just to say again... It is complete 1993 MusicMan Stingray 5 with a removed faulty preamp. Preamp just packed up and on investigation looks to need a rewire and some TLC. Another fix would be to install a John East preamp excluding the selector switch.

    Due to massive over spend this Christmas I'm going to put my Trace Elliot AH600-12 up for sale. It is Boxed and in 9.5 out of 10 condition. New JJ valves have been installed and it comes complete with pedal board, cable, instruction book and gig cover. Collection most welcome.     I have a 1993 Stingray 5 which has been badly wired. Someone has cut the cable from the pickup to preamp in half and joined it with tape. It works for now but I would like to put it back to standard. Does anyone have the correct four core plus screen cable that I could buy. Many thanks.

    Got a second 208 cab from Mansons today and can confirm that adding a second cab has transformed the rig. The bass sound really opens up and it feels like an extra octive has appeared from nowhere. It was a very welcomed surprise.
