1.
Sometimes you hate people for being right Actually it's going to be an interesting challenge, I might even have to pay attention to string damping.
Add some dead notes perhaps to mimic the percussive sound of a double bass ? That'll keep it interesting for you
 2.
There is country and country and Johnny Cash isn't it, tbh. He only got away with it because it was his definitive style...
No, he was Western .

 4.
When playing Fulsom Prison and the harmony moves from C to F - play C, D, E, F. Knocks them dead every time.
I played this for the second time ever, doing it even more basic than that and it totally got people clapping along. I don't think you need to embellish -simple has its virtues

 14. Tell him To get stuffed - if i buy something from here the first thing I do is look it over. If it looks okay and plays as well as one can expect for its age / stated condition then the sellers duty is at an end. Two months is way out of the ball park Caveat : unless police are later involved in any ownership issues

 20. I don't gig as such but if I'm off out to OM night I usually pick the precision as it totally fits in. I always take an acoustic bass and sometimes swap the relic precision out for a vintage stingray copy
