1. I thought of that but heard some not so good reports on it. Have you used one? Is it any good?
2. I recently put an Artec SE 2 into a nice Bass Collection bass. I'm really pleased with the results and thinking of turning one of my jazzes active. I know a good luthier who can relocate an jack socket to the bottom leaving me a four hole plate but I'm worried the room 'under the hood' will be tight. Has anyone fitted an SE 2 into a Jazz . . . . any tips?
3. I just fitted an Artec SE 2 into my bass collection. Vast improvement on the original, and quite happy with the original pups. Happy boy!
4. Welcome to Basschat. Looks like a lovely bass. Might be an idea to state whereabouts you are based so folk can get an idea of whether it's practical to give her a try out :-)
5. Kore Trinity Workstation, tatty but full working order at the Bletchley branch recently for £139.99. Pretty chuffed with that :-)
6. I've got one the same year as this but a different colour. It's battered but everyone who plays it wants to buy it. Free bump :-)
7. I'll check mine, if it's 94 I'll have it!
8. Thanks. I have a bridge one already :-(
9. Do you know if this is for the neck or bridge position?
10. Plus one on what attitude castle said . . . . Or a floor multi fx with decent eq facilities, you coul then use that as a flexible programmable eq . . . . Plus fx . . . . And just use the LH 500 (which used to be mine!) as a power amp . . . . . .
11. I step forward to take the prize . . . can't remember the model number, but Zebrano top, ebony board, super low action and general all round lushness! 12. I think Zebrano . . . . Is that the same as Zebra wood? Nice ebony board and lovely low action :-)
13. Pics as promised. Regarding the screw size I can't really help I'm afraid as I have no way of measuring :-)
14. Pics to follow and will get info on the Allen key size!
15. That's wicked HowieBass, just what I wanted. Thank you so much!
16. I've got a high mass and highly adjustable Gotoh bridge on a rather tasty Bass Collection instrument I own. I've provided a picture below. Could anyone direct me to adjustment instructions please, or amend the pic and repost with arrows and words on? There are also allen screws (only just visible) directly behind each saddle which I would assume are for saddle height adjustment, but the big allen screw at the back of each block also influences saddle height. Why are there two adjusters for saddle height and what is the correct way to set up this bridge? Thanking you in anticipation, Colin
17. Still tempted even with the rosewood. I'm only up the road too!
18. I used to use a b2.1u and loved it. It got a bit unreliable after many years of abuse so have just moved on to their new pedal. I used to use the bassman amp sim with the gain setting turned up a bit. Also a bit of compression but with the sensitivity set very low as the compressor on these is a bit over the top IMO . . . . .
19. If only it had a maple fretboard!
