Hi Pestie . . . . age, unknown, I've had it since at least 2010 and I got it from cash converters, but it's in pretty good nick. It's hard to say how easy something is to use. You essentially have 50 programs each with a part a and a part b. For each program and part you can pre set a key signature and define two harmonies to be added to that part. It also has three different reverbs, although ~I can't remember whether they are programmable. If you want to use it live, you will need to find a footswitch that works with it . . . trial and error I'm afraid. I used the behringer footswitch that comes with their v-amp pedal, or maybe the original footswitch is still available from Digitech. So you program it all up, set the program before you start the song, then when you want the harmony you hit the footswitch. You need too have set the program to the key signature the song is in. If you're using it for recording you probably don't need the footswitch. I found it pretty easy to use and I'm an old git with only five o levels ;-) Colin

Hi, I'm in the market for a new MacBook as my old one is getting pretty tired. I have logic installed on a Mac mini and my MacBook. I spoke to an advisor at the Apple Store today and asked if I could uninstall on my old MacBook and reinstall on a new one, as the license only allows you to run the software on one main and one laptop computer. He told me that I couldn't do this and essentially I would have to buy a new copy of Logic X which seems bloody ridiculous to me, as I only want to run it on two computers. Is he right, or can anyone advise me of a workaround on this. In layman's terms please. I'm not computer illiterate but neither am I a whizz kid. With thanks in anticipation, Colin

Bought a bridge from Mark. He actually sent it before I paid him. So received almost instantly in good order as described :-)

I recently acquired this in a trade. I was trying to thin my collection and was offered two basses in exchange form my Custom Shop 64 Jazz. Not a great start to a slimming down I know. Of the two I got, to be honest, both are keepers, and the other bass I'm keeping. If I didn't have a surfeit of Jazz basses, including a 74, I'd be keeping this one. Anyway. It's a 75 reissue, serial number indicates 2008. It weighs 8.8 pounds and is original, with OHSC, covers and all the candy. It's almost immaculate . . . . a couple of very light marks on the back which are impossible to photograph, a hairline scratch on the neck which I've tried to photograph, and the usual cleaning swirls. The action goes low . . . I've just set it up to around 2mm at the 12th fret and it's strung with 100 gauge pro steels. I'm in no rush to sell this, and if there's no interest I'll just love n cherish her and take her out to play occasionally! So - £850 collected from sunny Milton Keynes or meet up within reasonable distance. £870 personally delivered to any railway station on the London Midland route between Euston and Birmingham/Crewe . . . or . . . last resort . . . posted insured at cost via parcel force. The nature of my work means I don't have a place where I can wait for a courier so need to take it to a local depot. Payment via good old folding stuff or bank transfer please Trades? Not really . . . . may be interested in a four string Bubinga Corvette or something Streamerish, but would really like to get a bit of cash back my way. Will only sell abroad if buyer has comprehensive positive feedback on here. And to the pics . . . I did my first gig with a Jack. Sold it on and a few years later bought it back. The lack of a head plush he altered hanging position on a strap does throw me out a bit and as a singing bass player really need to know where I'm going without looking. Having said that, we're not parting company again, that's for sure!

Thomastic flats Vs La Bella low tension flats
King Tut replied to Sibob's topic in Accessories and Misc
I think I have La Bella low tension flats on one of the jAzzes I got recently from Old Horse Murphy and I love 'em. I have a couple of basses strung with TI flats and they feel very similar to me. -
