    Fact is, it's hard to go out and buy a really bad bass these days....now in my day, when men were men, (in the 70's) the cheap basses were awful and some of the big names were a bit dodgy too!

    FS only - £80.00. Sold pending receipt of coin of the realm! Tritonlabs FET Overdrive Overdrive pedal made by Tritonlabs. I've had this about a year and gigged with it a couple of times. Has a voltage boost built in which gives a lot more headroom. It will run off anything from 9 to 24volts The sound is 'darkglass' for me - it sounds a lot like a Darkglass Vintage microtubes pedal I had once, however this pedal has a greater tonal range A new one would cost you around £119.00 depending on exchange rate - I'm asking £80 posted to UK mainland addresses More info here http://www.triton-lab.com/overdrive

    FS (no trades) only £900 + shipping SOLD Sandberg Classic TM4 in blue grain Active/passive with an excellent on-board pre-amp that lets you sculpt your tone on the fly. 40mm nut width, weighing around 4kg (ish). Strung with Thomastik flats If you know about Sandbergs you'll know just how good these are. I'm selling to fund another bass I'm gassing for Bought from Bass Direct last year (preowned).     I use s/h monster cables bought of of fleabay. Didn't know about the slightly large jack thing tho....hmmn On a separate but related note, there was an ampeg head and cab on fleabay about a yr ago. The seller had replaced all the internal speaker and main amp internal cable with heavier duty wire which he claimed improved the sound - his point being that it's all very well spending gadzillions on premium gear but the bits of wire inside the speaker and amp are typically cheapest thin bit of wire, so by replacing same with heavier duty stuff, vastly improved the sound. No idea if he was right as I din't buy the amp and cab he had for sale....but it seemed logical Captain!
