I notice these basses are a good P/J compromise, plus the White/sunburst looks great! Has anyone tried these new production models? How well built are they? Price seems fair...

I think the compressor is fantastic for an onboard feature, but I'm a simple creature when it comes to these things. For me, it sounds great. Keep tweaking!

Ive just been pricing up some 112s, and I was looking for basically 1 quality 1x12 for my quiet gigs. The price of neo 1x12s is around £500-£600 now, and for that price I can buy an Ibanez Promethean 1x10 COMBO...as in the amp as well! Yes, its only a 10 in a small box, but I dont want masses of power.

The Schroes are definitely a good 1 cab small/loud solution. If I had the chance to gig one, id probably buy one, but now they arent available through the dealer in the UK.

I hear really good things about the Ibanez P amps...kinda wish I could try one locally.

As if! I hope you get it sorted. Appalling service for such expensive instruments.

I've definitely noticed Aguilar taking over as a 'rock' brand in the USA...they seem to take a lot of ex Ampeg artists. Aguilar gear is exceptionally well made, and looks great. Definitely great for all styles!

Has anyone directly A/Bed one of these with a MIA P Bass? I just tried another MIA P, and to be honest, it sounded and felt great, but I still prefer my MIA 3TS/Rosewood that Ive had for over a year now. Im finding it hard to get anywhere close to as good, so im thinking of just spending a lot less on a CV P.

I've tried it, no bass sounds like a Ray, they have their own character. If you want the Ray tone, don't compromise, save for the Ray

I just like amps with mutes. My Orange has zero bells and whistles but it sounds awesome. Everything else i expect lots of extra functions.

That was my problem. Ive no idea if they have addressed the weight, but the JO5s/DJ5s I tried were very very heavy. Saying that, they are a large bodied bass, so I guess some will be that.
