  1. Hey Bob, good to see you here. Enjoy!
  2. Oops, you're absolutely right, @PeteHantzios, I obviously missed that little (but very relevant) detail...! 😕
  3. Just a thought, but your main headline at the top shows this as £1750, which is what folk will see first. Maybe you can edit the headline as your price drop to £1500 (or trade) is not immediately apparent. Just tell me to butt out if you've already considered this!
  4. Updated pic of my 'signature' bass.
  5. Yes! I was about to add a Sei Bass and @4000 beat me to it. However, I always fancied the 6-string so will just add this to the mix as well...
  6. Hey, thanks Ped. Now there's a thought. I've had this beauty since 1997.
  7. Aw, g'wan, g'wan - give us a Tune....!!
  8. How could I not...?!
  9. Just heard about this from me mate, @mangotango, and am equally as saddened by the news. RIP Lyle.
  10. Crumbs...!!

    TunePorn

Just thought I'd revive this thread and see how many other Tune players might now be on Basschat. Also, here's a bunch of pages with various specs from the Tune catalogue.
  12. Quite a lot on Reverb, too https://reverb.com/marketplace?query=tune bass
  13. Happy to oblige. In fact, I posted a few pics of my TWB-6 in the TunePorn thread way back in 2009. This 'ere post: https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/18385-tuneporn/?do=findComment&comment=655632 However, I'll park a couple or three here and just say that Japanese Tune's are a bit like hen's gold teeth, at least in the UK. Well worth snagging one, though, if the opportunity arises. Japanese vintage Tune TWB-6 (c.1991). Purchased in 1997 from the Bass Centre, Wapping. Also bought this Korean Tune SWV4-BB a few years back (through Basschat).
  14. Definitely a band after my own heart!
  15. Landmarq at DanFest 9 - the biggest little Prog festival in the world (Nov 2019)....
  16. If you're actually downloading the files to your own device, you should be able to delete them as normal. However, if you're listening to your band tracks via your drummers Dropbox account (i.e., in a shared folder), then you won't be able to delete the files as they'll be in his account. With WeTransfer, the files are only on the server for 7 days then deleted. Once you've downloaded them, delete as appropriate.
  17. I also use WeTransfer. There's also MediaFire for sharing large files where you can also store them, too. You get 55GB of storage with the free account.
  18. Excellent news, indeed, Dan. Just wondering, will you still be doing the bass reviews for Guitar Interactive?
  19. Here's a couple of pics from a Heads Up jazz gig played at the Union Church in Shenfield, Essex. Great stage setting. Also includes Basschatter @mangotango in his other guise as guitarista.
  20. Interesting. I didn't know about the book. Do you happen to know the title?
  21. You know it makes sense!
