    Oh my, I think the bass gods are really toying with me; I was looking out for a Tune 5-string a while back (I have the TWB-6 and a couple of the later Korean models). Sadly, funds won't currently allow me to go for it but I can certainly vouch for the quality of these basses. Absolutely! GLWTS. 👍😎👍

    I saw a shared Facebook post yesterday from Nick's sister so have been following on there. What an absolute shock to finally learn of the tragic outcome. I last bumped into Nick at the 2023 London Int'l Guitar Show. Had a nice chat and he was his usual lovely, smiley self. A huge loss for his family and friends and for the wider bass community. RIP Nick 😢❤

    Indeed, I saw the photos! I was so up for it but then band work on the same weekend clashed. To say I was gutted would be an understatement. 😢

    I couldn't find a clip from Rock School that may have showed Henry playing his Westone, but here's part of one of the episodes from, I think, around the mid to late 80's. He's upgraded slightly -- to a Wal 5-string! 😊

    Appreciate you're new to Basschat so welcome and apologies for the seemingly late reply but some topics get more 'traffic' than others and it depends who's around to answer specific questions. Personally, I've not been on BC for a while (just busy) and just spotted your posts, but in answer to your question, you might try the Jim Dunlop 65 series of cleaning products (including lemon oil). Nice TWB43 btw 👍. It just so happens I recently picked up another Tune, a TWB4Z (w/piezo pickup), right here on Basschat. They're excellent basses. Hope you enjoy yours 🙂

    Drivng home from Hereford last night, I was feeling absolutely gutted that I had to miss the Bash, but many thanks to Mick ( @TheGreek ) and Trevor ( @TrevorR ) for posting the photos. Of course, now I'm feeling even more gutted! 👍😎👍

    Another dropout here, I'm afraid. 😢 I was really looking forward to this (especially as I had to miss last year after my car was written off), but recording commitments this week now mean I won't be able to sneak away for a few hours. However, if there's any change of plan and I can make it along, then I'll be there.
