1. Yes TB is a cultural mismatch at times, and the locals share their lands with that political genius Donald Trump......ahem! (That was sarcasm for our U.S. readers btw) Although joking aside I occasionally frequent the forum...
2. Hi, If you decide to split I may be interested in a 1x12"
3. My 1974 Jazz.....I buy & sell a lot....but not this one
4. I've had both. Preferred the Lakland for feel and the quality of the build etc but the Sire has much more tonal variation, and cheaper too. That said I found the Yamaha TRB2 that I've recently sold to be the best all round 5 string, awesome tone, great low B and the build oozes quality.
5. SOLD - up for sale is my trusty 151 15" Markbass cab. Bought about 18 months ago from Andertons. Italian made, 8-0hms & 400W. A simply brilliant 15" cab with loudness and clarity, one hand carry and oodles of lovely tone. I've been using the Orange Terror bass and this cab in my soul/swing functions band and i love the sweet tone from this combination. I just hope the 2x NY121's i have coming in can make as good a sound too. So too many cabs at present and its time for this one to go to a good home. The speaker is in excellent condition. Specs: http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=127 £275 collected from South West Devon or will courier at cost to buyer. Stock pic for now:
6. PM's replied, lots of interest but she's still here
7. Price drop to £55, bargain for a lot of great pedal FX
8. I got the new Hartke Kickback 12, 500W today. £289 from GAK, seems to be the cheapest I could find. Lightweight, good tone and kickback design...winner
9.
I buy them from an eBay US string store. Don't mind waiting 6 days to save £20...
Yup me too, getting my DR's for less than £20
10.
Does that taller knob pull the boost in. Looking at other pro lines, all the knobs are the same. Sorry if it's a stupid question.
Nope certainly a good question . The higher knob is the volume, below it is the pick up pan and the other two are the filters for each pick (a bit like a tone knob for each pick up but on steroids as it filters frequencies...very clever and as aforementioned lots of tonal variation). Thanks, Lee
11.
That would make it about average p weight with a neck then i guess...hmmm very tempting !
it's a bargain!
12. ....and SOLD
13.
ive just bought a new kiOgon witing kit fender knobs and ordered an entwistle pup for not much less than the cost of this. bargain!
Thanks, Yes quite the bargain but its been sitting collecting dust for the last several months so time to shift the bargain on.
Hi Lee whats the weight like ?
Hi mate, she is a precise 7.53lbs on my newfangled digital scales
14. I have had this lying around for ages. It did have a Squire neck on it but i transferred that to a PJ body. Not sure of the wood, i was going to say ply but the grain in the neck pocket may suggest not. Bizarrely it has a hole through it as seen on the rear picture, perhaps a previous owner was going to attempt a string through ?..who knows!...anyhow this is covered by the bridge. It has a Entwhistle neo pick up, these appear to get some love around here - i have the original pick up covers which can be included, and it sports a Kiogon P wiring kit (CTS's etc), Fender knobs - so all in all sounds pretty good too. Generic 60's tort guard. Plenty of knocks and bumps to the paintwork hence i called it relic'd but this is how it came to me some years ago, good mojo as they say. Put a neck on and its good to go...it even has old strings. £65 posted, £60 collected in South West Devon
15. PM's replied and still here
16. SOLD: So impressed with these pedals that i've bought an M9 off here so this one is surplus. With an expression pedal you can control any parameter...something that sets the Line 6 apart from other multi FX. Can be used on bass, guitar...anything! Great synth sounds, envelope filters, and a great effect if your into dubstep, drum & bass etc etc Comes with original PSU, pretty sure i have the box too, Velcro on bottom - can easily be removed. £55 posted or will knock some off if collected in Plymouth or Tavistock , Devon A nerdy boring guitard demo....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MPIFMVD9g8
17. SOLD Got this lovely USA Precision Deluxe bass in a recent trade with a fellow basschatter and I have to say it truly is a wonderful playing and sounding thing of beauty - (hope the original owner doesn't mind me using your pics as my phone is broken...bloody children ) I have 'finally' decided to stick with 4 strings for the near distant future and this simply is far too nice a 5 string bass to be having sat around in a case. If it was a four i would certainly be keeping, albeit if they had thinner necks too as I'm really finding I am more comfortable with a jazz width 4 string basses these days...or at least my pinky fingers appears to be. This bass has the 5 inline tuners, aesthetically more pleasing than the 4-1 in my opinion, 3 band EQ - the mid is my favourite part of this allowing the bass to go from a modern sound to a classic P tone...i really like the tone of this bass and of course complimenting that sound is the classic Bill Lawrence pick ups which they need no introduction. Pearl inlays, light weight tuners, great tight B string all make for a Fender classic. Serial reads DN920614, this guitar is from the American Deluxe Series made at the Corona Plant (Fender) in 1998 - 1999 Strung with Thomastik infeld jazz flats making for a great smooth tone and all with a low action. Included in the sale is also a tort pickguard as shown in the pics. The bass has been gigged so mild signs of use but it is in mighty excellent condition for its year, minor graze behind the bridge and a pressure ding on the neck but nothing that would show in pics and certainly nothing that would effect playability - just being honest! Original Fender case is functional but again clear signs of use. £850 posted in the UK, £825 collection from South West Devon. International shiping would need to be covered by buyer and couriered options at buyers risk. Ideally looking for cash on this one but may entertain trades and part trades. I'm particularly interested in 'the bass that shall not be mentioned in these here parts' but may begin with a R i believe (PM me of course), or a decent lightweight 2x10" - ideally Markbass. Any basses suggested need to be 4 string and with a thinnish ish neck please, but i am ok for Fender Jazzes. Thanks for looking.
18.
No pictures visible type bump
Cheers buddy, hopefully amended
19. I'll take it, PM'd
20. I have a nice 90's Warwick Corvette with ACG pre and Bartolini pick ups up for sale if any interest tradewise?
21.
Fab price for the Yamaha. I played one for about 10 years.
....and the Yamaha just sold - it's off to Lithuania
