1.
I think the neck on that Bitsa P/J is off my old Fender P? If it is, as Raslee says, it's a beautiful neck. Really nice & comfortable to play. The body of that bass looks lovely too - nice job Anyhow, Mr Raslee is a great guy to deal with - so buy in confidence folks PS. The Peavy looks nice too...... hmmm...
Thanks Marc, I'll miss that neck - most comfortable P neck I've used to date Also yes the Peavey is a nice vintage sounding bass, love it for recording

9. Having a bit of a shuffle with some new purchases coming in and could do with selling a 4 stringer bass to balance the funds a little. So i only intend on selling this one....don't snooze a lose as they say : Here is a 2000 black Warwick FNA bass, single humbucker.. I'd actually quite like to keep this bass as it's very versatile, i got it in a trade some months back with the intention of selling it on but I gigged it in my functions band for the last 3-4 gigs ...i was blown away with the sound and it seems superior to any other Warwicks I've ever had. Low action, great condition, active 4 EQ, - I'm thinking a bargain £450 on this as Warwicks don't seem to command the prices they used too - although i'm sure it's worth more...god knows why they go so cheap as the build quality and playability is phenomenal (and I've been through about 50 basses to compare it against!!! Bloody GAS) ....as i say happy to keep this one but putting it out there as I fancy a change Happy to courier, buyer will have to pay costs or collect from Plymouth/Tavistock - Devon
10. Got my 3 today...they're still in the car and can't be arsed to get them yet ....do they come with batteries ?
11. Some years back i replaced my pro4 for an Orange Terror bass...i did A/B them for a while and thought they were very similar.
12.
I'm in the hole for six quid! The stakeholders will be furious!
Ditto, i went for three...i could become bankrupt as a result
13.
I'd be interested in this if it is still available and also if we could work out a meet point between you and Devon ?
PM'd with hope
14. I'd be interested in this if it is still available and also if we could work out a meet point between you and Devon ?
15. Shout (Lulu version), Proud Mary & Hey Jude
16.
I think that may depend on the type of music and the size of the venue. But it looks great to me, I remember enjoying the sweet tone these push out. GLWTS.
Yeah, you need headroom for reggae
17.
Really wow that sounds impressive
I was initially hesitant about the EQ options but was very surprised that you can get a lot of tone with just the VPF/VLE, from clean funk, warm soul, defined rock, and dubbing reggae...brilliant combo
18. Superb amps these, I've been using one with a 7 piece functions band without an extension cab for a while now and i still have to turn it down - i'm sure the wattage is an under estimate as they're really bloody loud, never fart out, and a great tone too. GLWTS
19. Bought a Musicman case from Nick. He was kind enough to agree to meet me at a service station on my travels...ironically to pick up a musicman bass without a case. Perfect! Thumbs up from me -thanks.
20. Did a recent bass trade with Mark, great comms all the way and no hassles. A credit to basschat and 100% trustworthy fella.
