Damn - just re- read this and thinking I should get that deep blue Flamboyant built after all, I've sold enough kit this week to afford it as well. . .
Get it done Barrie..... !!

I'd only "choose" to listen to one Guitarist...... Frank Zappa (although to merely pidgeon0hole hims as a Guitarist wouldn't do the man justice) I only tolerate other guitarists I have occasionally enjoyed : Jeff Beck SRV John Frusciante Nile Rodgers Edge
Hey Mark, Sorry mate, just re-read my post over at the other place and it does sound a bit like that don't it To explain, I've been promising Mr Bucket that I'd turn up to see him play after he was hugely complimentary about my dep at the Office last year, hence the rather cackhanded post. It was not intended as a slight towards you or your playing Looks like I will be there on Friday (surplus brownie points to burn, so I may as well use them before they time expire) look out for a fat bearded bloke in a bright orange basschat tee-shirt!
LOL...... nee bother man, Kev's Awesome and i'm just helping out to keep them on the Road, while the Bucket's away It'll be good to meet you, and I DO need some advice on wadding for my cab !!! How come you got a BassChat T and I missed out !!!! ??

"uses" should have been used (s&d right next to eachother and clumsy bass players fingers) I sold the monster about 2 years ago..... You could have heard my GKRB700 II into my Loud inc cab on Friday but I think you're not going cos i'm playing instead of Kev Get ya'self along..... i'm not that Bad ATB Mark

I owned a Lakland 4-94 and to me it was far, far superior to the 2 44-94's i've tried, build and feel was in a different league (IMHO) The difference btw the USA's & Skylines is much more significant that say the Sadowsky USA's & Metro's which to me are virtually identical in every respect. That said...... I'd be happy to own a 44-94 as at that price point they are very very good

I Uses an Aguilar DB680 & DB728 Valve Pre- Power with a pair of GS410's (see avatar) for about 6 months. Best Sound i've ever had !! not sure the Cabs were the last word but would have loved a pair of Begantino 410's with that set up. Ultimately though the Weight of that Set Up became a drag doing 3/4 shows a week, as we were at the time ATB Mark

Get well soon mate ATB Mark

Paul purchased my Musicman Stingray, easy deal to do, great comms and generally a silky smooth transaction Top Bloke this Platypus !!! ATB Mark

I love Fodera's I've been luck enough to own 2 VW 83 Re-issue Monarchs Btw a couple of us here in the North East we've had half a dozen, they've just about all ended up in a Hut in Halwhistle getting Fettled by Dave Wilson !! Class instruments...... would have another at the drop of a hat !!

I don't think the guy is "pitching" anything just now..... he's after some feedback on an initial design concept, currently he's had some helpful suggestions to develop his idea.... along with a few smart arse comments. Seems to me like Mr Riot hasn't fully thought everything through but is using the UK's largest Bass community to conclude the product research. Maybe his cab won't hit the spot commercially (I hope it does) but shouldn't we offer encouragement for him to at least get to the production stage ? I for one would love to hear a proto-type Also I believe Bergantino IP cabs are raved over !!! ATB Mark

Sounds great...... !!! Could well be interested in one of these...... Been thinking along these lines for a while, would be good for adding power to a combo that runs out of steam at larger gigs.... How do you plan to cater for the different outputs from basses ? Clearly a Vintage P will have a much lower output than say a Status Bass with 18v Active circuit ? Connections needs to be well thought out too...... have you thought about a DI facility ? ATB Mark
I think they look great (which I know isn't the most important thing!) but wondered what they actually sounded like? All the reviews seem to have been good but I wonder how many magazine reviewers would ahve the nerve to tell Marcus he didn't know what he was doing with regards to tone choices! With that in mind, interesting that he chose a pre only to put his name to and not a full pre/power head. Kinda makes sense to me really
I wouldn't mind honest feedback...... I make some good tone choices, and some bad ones !! ....... oh you mean Mr. Miller !
What kind of money are you offering (aimed at the OP!)? I'll get me Taurus pedals serviced if its decent!
Hey Nicko...... I'm not sure you're up to this type of material yet !!! Status S2000 into Markbass rig won't get the "Clayton Tone" either
