  1. It would be good to have a response to my pm please. I see you have posted elsewhere today. Thx.
  2. I have a "spare" unboxed polytune I am happy to sell to you. Very lightly marked face, but fully working. PM me if interested.
  3. I have nothing to offer scientifically on this and have traditionally been a naysayer. However, it is interesting to me to note that having owned a few basses over time, of the ones that I sold, they all had plain maple fretboards. The ones kept are mostly rosewood type woods, with one spalted maple.
  4. I was put onto her a month ago. Amazing player and am enjoying her band with Anthony Jackson. 👏
  5. Harry, at risk of coming across as a salesman: this is a superb option that should not be overlooked and fits your requirements. I cannot do much on price but will deliver at no cost if you are in Bedfordshire.
  6. If I temporarily ignore some stunning Opera voices, in addition to the Ellas and Billies, Kralls etc I would add Hayley Reinhart, Morgan James and, I am still working through her songbook, Sarah Lloyde especially when singing with The Hindley Street Country Club.
  7. Thank you, I meant his version as opposed to Gary Moore.
  8. One of my favourite songs to noodle over in a quiet moment is Peter Green's Need Your Love So Bad. I just find it one of the most relaxing tunes to play and listen too. Sad times RIP Mr Green.
  9. I love this. The guy next to Eddy Murphy on chain pull appears to be using cut down flip lops as a sticks.
  10. Not sure if this helps put your wound and guitarist's incident into perspective; but this is a bad day:
  11. Packaging aside, I have both that one and the StroboStomp. Probably the best clip on and pedal tuners I have owned.
  12. Don't scrap it, can it not go to one of those charities that puts pianos in public places, or even a school?
  13. For £3.5k the Forte is yours! 😀
  14. Having come to a decision not to pursue full time gigging, I have decided to put my immaculate 2017 CMD121P up for sale including an MB cover and the original kettle lead. This has been used for indoor practice and a handful of rehearsals only. Never gigged or pushed hard. It is in pristine condition without any apparent fault but also a great piece of kit, albeit taking up space in my music room. Going forward I am using my Barefaced Big Twin II and Bergantino Forte HP / or a couple of pedals with DI out into my Scarlett interface at home when Mrs BtD thinks the Forte is too loud! I have no box so this is collection only, however, for £25 extra I am prepared to deliver within 50 miles of home
  15. Well this seems to have come to a full stop before it started.
  16. Plus: I love the bass lines on these too which is a bonus.
  17. This very much says so, although I did not hear the actual speech: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-53355001
