I think I might win the award (if there was one) for tiniest touring rig? Elf plus 2x8 cab and Uke bass. In fact my pedal board is almost the same size as the cab Deeply impressed but this little setup. Band isn’t too loud (folky esque stuff) and this reslly holds it own!

Sorry but I don’t think that’s enormously helpful. ‘Feeling’ something comes right at the end of the process once you’ve broken down, understood and internalised the thing you are working on. For triplets. I would suggest starting with quaver triplets and get those down - crotchet triplets are much harder. If you’ve understood quaver triplets that’s a great starting point. The Bellson rhythm book is useful but isn’t necessarily the most logically structured in terms of developing your understanding. My personal preference would always be to get a good teacher who would work with you. Feel free to PM about this.

Various quirky and quite rare synth / 8ve pedals for sale or trade. All in good condition and work as should. Surplus to requirements for me these days. Pretty sure most have boxes but will check. Add £5 on for next day signed delivery. I can usually send same day as live v.close to a post office! Happy to entertain trades for interesting pedals (DI's / envelope filters / synths / 8ves). Cubic Copilot 8ve - £80 (slight loss of decal on front but works fine) MXR Bass 8ve - £90 SOLD TWA Great Divide 2.0 (crazy synth) - £200 (sold) Broughton Synth Voice Octaver - £100 SOLD Any Q drop me a PM.

I was trying to load the website the other day too and it wasn’t working. Such a shame. I’ve just snapped up one of his valve DI’s second hand instead as I’m sure they will start to become collectors items! RIP Dave, thanks for all your great work.

Me neither. And for me the fun is in trying to achieve those sounds (or close) using a bass rather than the original synth. Partly for practical reasons (not learning a new instrument / needing MORE gear) and partly for the fun of just messing on with pedals and sounds. Again, personal preference!

Agreed....BUT it’s more kit to be carting to gigs and for maybe one or two songs? Unless it was a full time well paying multiple gigs per month gig what’s the point (IMO). Fun trying to get close to the sound using bass. Again IMO!

I found an OC2 isn't a bad sound for this track

Ace. What’s the ETA on this? Very interested! -
These are excellent. Clean preamp / DI’s. I have them on two boards and have nothing but praise for them. If you want something more coloured / vintage sounding then don’t use it, otherwise you’re onto a winner!
