    You’ll want a “stereo” jack socket (or TRS) which is the type you have on your bass. (Which suggests you have active electronics on board as the third pin helps to complete a circuit and essentially switch the circuit on). The type you have received is a mono socket (TS) which would be used on passive instruments such as a standard precision bass.

    I do really like that you can still load impulses in to the HX - and, given that its possible to make impulses, they don't necessarily have to be cabinet ones either! See below.. Thank you Apeneck! Indeed, my LT is up for sale in favour of HX, thank you for the 'bump'

    BIAS 2 and BIAS FX are incredible desktop apps too. I've been using them solidly every day since release. (Jam Up I also have.) Not surprisingly I got my hands on the amp to review too and I am thoroughly impressed. I find that I can build Sims much faster and create believable tones that sound better than my other amp sim options. Absolutely killer! My other options do favour the effects side of things though, so daisy chaining BIAS Amp with Helix Native is practically mind blowing as they both have their strong points.

    Brilliant!! 😂🤪😂🤪😂🤪😂 I sat there for ages trying to talk myself in to the stomp, but HX on paper won me over. I preferred the 9 effects at once and 6 buttons.

    I've also just bought HX instead of Stomp. I've just made the decision to sell my LT based on my weekend experiences of HX. I'm not sure how Line 6 have shafted HX owners, unless there's something I've missed. HX is for a different demographic, if that's the right word.

    And some pictures! I'll be hanging on to the wooden board, 4 way and short IEC cable, but the original Helix power cable will be provided. I think I might even have the original box too.

    Right, I'm going to do this quickly before I change my mind. My Helix LT is up for sale. This is a moment of madness, but I gigged with just the HX Effects this weekend and it did what I needed it to. @Al Krow knows about this wierd urge I have to make a tiny pedal board so LT will make way for HX instead. The screen protector was made by our own resident design genius InTimeNick and went on before the Helix went to a gig, so all is in spot on condition. I also have a super tough bag that RoqSolid made for me that cost £60 that I will do for £40. It's an oversized case that will allow you to mount LT on a pedal board along with other pedals should you wish. Shipping, I'm not sure - probably around £20 tracked and insured England postcodes. If you come and collect this week (until Sunday eve) I will do the case for £30 w/LT. Latest firmware yah-da yah-dah I will do a factory reset ready for the new owner. Get in quick before I stick it on the usual pages for a quick sale.

    Maybe in the Christmas Special... maybe not ha ha ha!!!! Some of the out takes are just embarrassing. Like the time it took countless retakes for me to even just introduce a product. It was a fairly wordy title, but maaaaaaaaaaan I just couldn't get my words out!

    Hmmm, I feel sure I covered it, but I wonder if it has been edited out. I'll need to buzz through the video later and check ha ha! It was a while ago and I've covered a load of kit since. You do have a good point there. This was a really long review. We try to stay under 15 minutes or there abouts but you know me.. I like the details! I agree, every review is going to be an overview, there are too many variables to cover every angle. Thank you!!!

      @Bridgehouse Interestingly, LT hasn't been used for anything other than gigging! - I have the Helix Native plug in for recording etc and I practice at my computer. So LT has just gone up for sale!
