I've sent them a reply airing what I feel is the case. Advertising stock they don't have is bad bad form, especially when they are taking money and replying a week later. I'm awaiting a response before I decide what to do next.

Ahhhh yes! I have a turbo-winder. Mine is an old style one, doesn't look as good - but with an electric screwdriver attached, it has saved me many many hours of string changing I am sure! I used to do three headed six string basses, a seven string and two four strings at a time!

I'd add the GK MB800 - the FET preamp of this model does drive a bit, but mainly, it's a very loud amp! My ole Markbass F1's couldn't keep up and I used the GK when it's not convenient to use the Hartke Kilo - which sadly, despite being a massive 1KW, is neither small or 2Kg! Lol

Cool! Thanks Jaydentaku! Angel, yes I think as much as I would love the Cordoba, I think I might have to settle for the Yammy. The thought of seeing a £200 Uke hitting the deck at a workshop is a bit much to stomach verses a £50 one! One of each you say? oh dear! Need to sell stuff!

I've commented my thoughts about the three pedals I bought recently on the other Mooer thread currently running. I think for the money they are brilliant and I am in no doubt that I will end up with two or three on my gigging board. Right now I am using the Pure Boost actually as a preamp pedal, not so much a boost, just because it has such a lovely FAT low end! I'm thinking about getting the EQ and possibly the Rage distortion too. The higher gain distortions I will definitely blend though, as that's how I have been running my drives for many years now.

Hi! You can use either an active monitor (be that a P.A type or even studio monitors) or a bass amp, or a seperate power amp and speaker, or a combo (even a keyboard combo will suffice too) - You have quite a few options there. I think the manual details some options too. The one thing I would suggest though, is that depending on what you choose to plug in to, you take a look at the configuration menu on the Pod. You can tell the Pod what kind of amplification you have connected to and it will set up the sounds on board to suit. (Especially important if you are using amplifier sims). The XT Pro has 1/4" outputs that you can connect with standard guitar leads as well as a USB connection and Earphones.

Hi all! When I'm not thrashing the pants of my 7 stringer, I work with a youth music group project. We use a wide range of instruments on the project and I have to say, I have found myself spending more time messing around with a Ukelele for fun. I have to say though, I kinda wanted something with 6 strings but about the same size as a tenor Uke. Well, after a bit of a google search, it seems said beast already exists! - I'm pretty excited at the prospect of getting one at some point. It'd be great for carrying about as both a useful acoustic instrument for the workshops I run, or indeed for writing and just the enjoyment of something to mess about on which looks pretty cool to me! The Guitalele or Guilele is a bit like a small acoustic guitar, but tuned A to A - the equivalent of having a Capo on the 5th fret of a normal acoustic guitar, so really, very easy to play if you already know guitar. The two main contenders I have found via YouTube appear to be a model by Yamaha and a model by Cordoba. Kinda leaning toward the Cordoba to be honest! I like that cutaway on it.
