3. I think that's exactly what the issue is.
4. I haven't been pushing this sale too hard, but there is a bass here at the moment that I would quite like, so... bump.

sold

Dunno why nobody bought this, I would if I didn't already have tokai and limelight precisions
6.
We'll I did say I'd post a few pics when I got chance. My 63JB is getting a bit of attention play wise but below shows some if the construction and relic details. Firstly.....I do believe that is a slab board. Secondly, hole drilled on the back of the headstock where the 'missing' third strap pin should be. Thirdly, crack in the scratch plate. As said before, not to everyone's taste but the attention to detail is pretty good at this price point.
Loving these limelights! Got mine last month, can't get enough of it, here's mine the day it was delivered at work. Sorry it's wonky, I cannot figure why..
7. Bought a Squire Mustang off LZD56, he was very quick and easy to deal with. He linked me to his Ebay account so I could check the stacks of great feedback he had on there since there was nothing here yet. The bass was packaged very nicely and it arrived quickly and as described. Cheers
8. Bought my pickup, paid quick and let me know he got it safely. Nice guy and no problems, Cheers ash!
9. Bump for edited trade options
10.
I found that site, but didn't see anything about getting a relic made up?
Just email the guy! He made me an amazing 70s p in battered Olympic white. It's a great great bass. His pickups are fantastic. I was expecting to immediately swap them out for Fender custom shop or lollar, but they're staying.
11. My new limelight!
12. Nice! Just sold my mij precision to have a limelight P made. Great decision, if I ever get a jazz it will be a limelight. Show us the pictures when it's made won't you!
13. man, if only i wasn't right handed. Curse my stupid brain.
14. Gone already, I still got this Lollar if anyones interested http://basschat.co.uk/topic/235951-lollar-split-precision-pickups/
15. SOLD*SOLD*SOLD I'm sorry. I don't know how to edit the title. Please PM me if you'd like to tell me how. Sometimes also referred to just as 'Fender Original Precision Bass Pickup Set' Here are the details on Fenders page: http://www.fender.co...-pickups-black/ I recommend using this pickup with a 0.1 cap. £35 posted, still has most of the original packaging, plus mounting screws and wiring diagram. I used it in my MIJ precision for a while until I sold it. Any questions? cheers, Matt
16. Selling my Lollar Precision pickups. Regular version, not overwound. They're almost brand new. I had them in my tokai P before Selling it and getting a Limelight precision. I'm happy with the sound of my Limelight, so if it ain't broke... Here is some info and sound clips: http://www.lollargui...e=pbass-pickups £50 shipped. Any questions? cheers, Matt
17. I've decided to de-fret and keep it since I'm playing in some double bass style scenarios. So I'm selling my Tacoma Thunderchief electric acoustic bass. Trade or part exchange options: Ernie Ball Sterling Markbass little mark 2 or 3 Markbass 2x8 cab The bass is incredibly comfortable to play, I had a mahogany thumb rest made by Joe White http://www.jwhite-gu...orkshops.co.uk/ to really close the gap between this and my electric bass in terms of playability and comfort, I can now go between the 2 without feeling any compromise. It's overall in good condition, but I have played it quite a lot when I was using it. There's a mark on the top of the neck, and a score line parallel to the neck just by the pocket, its not a crack, it's superficial. Other than that, and some wear on the front face from playing, it's all very tidy and in great working order. Fitted case included of course. So it has a solid spruce top with mahogany sides and back. Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. L.R. Baggs preamp and pickup. 34 scale. I put some Labella flats on since taking the photos, which sound and feel perfect, but you're welcome to the stock strings as well. I'm selling because I don't use it any more, they're not that easy to get hold of and I'm hogging the thing. I'd prefer collection from London or Surrey, but we can arrange couriers if we need to. This is my first sale here, but I have feedback from purchases. Let me know if there's any more into you want to include.
18. take a look at a EBMM sterling before you decide, or rather listen to one.
19. I thought you just need to point out of you want to trade? I guess 'Price or trade value' is confusing.. I don't know the rules. I'd like to pick this bass up if its still around in june btw.
20. Oh man I had a 4 string one, not half bad, really good for what they cost, especially second hand. Nice bass.
21. Just bought one, and sh*t me if it isn't the best P I ever played. Fantastic pickups, great feel sound and look. I'm going to be recording with it at some point in the future so I'll post the sound clips, since I see a lot of people curious about these basses, but not enough people confident to invest in one.
22.
I find that the most curious thing about some relic'd guitars and basses. A mate of mine had an early 60s Stratocaster in the 80s which had been a real workhorse and had numerous dings, buckle rash and chips out of it but it wasn't dirty, it wasn't rusty and the bridge wasn't full of gunge and grime. I've seen loads of groups since the 70s but can't remember many (if any) having filthy dirty guitars and basses covered in gloop and gunge. I fully understand the relic'd thing but just don't get the heavy relic, rusty, dirty idea at all.
I had a stingray for about years and managed to get it all gunky.
23. I had the 4 string, same colour and everything. top quality bass.
24. They're both just so nice. I shant choose!! I love bass, I love rosewood, I love maple!
