1. I have an original model, and it hasn't given me any trouble what so ever. It has a Tuner output too, so you can just rock the pedal back and tune in silence. I think the newer models can be had for around £50? Not too sure as I haven't felt the need to get one after buying an original
2. The Visual Sound Volume pedal is the best in my experience! It's got LEDs to show how loud you are, so you don't have to rely on your ears alone! Great idea IMO. The older version (if you can find it) should be pretty cheap, but the new version has blue LED's and some other fancy options like stereo outputs and stuff. Hope this has been of some help, and good luck finding the one for you!
3. God I wish I could afford this.
4. Someone must want a decent flanger It's in mint condition!
What's the pedal? There are lovely people all over the net who make veroboard layouts for the classics available. I vero all of mine, and it's much easier than using a PCB (plus no need for weird chemicals in the bathroom!).
It's a Fuzz Factory clone. I think I'm just going to buy a kit - That way I get all the right components and everything hassle free, and just gotta put the bugger together! I'm gonna have to put a 9v power jack on it too.
We use pro companies and use double-sided TPH and solder masks, not cheap and will cost more for the first one as the set up costs are high. Why use a PCB for a one off? Veroboard is great for one offs. Dave
Well I guess i've never used it so thought a nice neat PCB would be the best option. How do I make it with veroboard?
7. Bump and Price drop, £65 for the Flanger and 18v doubler, posted.

Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could possibly etch a circuit board for me? I've agreed to build a pedal for a mate, and the only thing I can't do is etch the circuit board. I have the circuit layout, so if anyone would be kind enough to do this, for me, I would be very grateful!! Thanks in advance.
11. I'm sure that's the case, but if I bought it, I'd be in an awful lot worse situation - Living on the streets!
12. Nope - He was actually giving his bass to Lucy Pinder while her name floated in the air beside her.
13.
Mexican Fender P with professionally fitted Wizard Thumper / new CTS pots / original cream pick guard + original Fender pickup. This bass plays beautifully and is nicely setup with low action and fitted with TI flats. Cavaties have been fully shielded. I bought this from Niceguyhomer in May, though now need to sell a bass or two. The tort pick gard hasn't been Tangoed ! - I will take a picture in daylight tomorrow. Apologies to Homer for borrowing his pics and link to origonal add I'm based in Harrow Middx and bass can also be collected from Windsor Berks £285 - same as I paid Link to Homer's original add here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=18999&st=0
God damn it! I'm trying not to spend money, but I have bad Precision GAS!!!
14. A bit of a late update, but here is the newest addition to the Higgie Bass Army!! Sorry for the sh*te pic n'all, maybe better pics coming later if I be bothered!!
15. So, i've jumped on to the "recently acquired Stingray" bandwagon! Bought from the fantastic mr Perry on here a few weeks ago!
16. Now THIS is something I really wish I had the money for.
17.
Yeah, I just don't think that sounds like a mutron - it may well be but I can't get anything like it out of my qtron...
There's your problem my friend!
18. Ok cool, well let me know - I kinda need to sell it quick as I need the cash.
19.
How much?
I have the original PS-1 power supply with it too, it's in great condition with just a couple of scratches. I'd be looking at about £400.
20.
Cracking pair of basses there mate, a ray and a DJ, doesn't get much better than that.
Having joined the Ray and DJ club recently, I can attest to this! I have a DJ4 in white pearl with maple fingerboard, a DJ5 in black with a maple fingerboard, and a trans orange 3EQ Ray with a maple fingerboard They are all fantastic basses, I doubt I will sell any of them, unless I'm really badly in need of cash! I think I may have played this actual bass at the gallery a couple of weeks ago, it's a very nice player, and the setups at the gallery are very good! Do you know what pickups are in it? I have Aero pickups and a J-Retro in both my DJ's, and IMO they sound bloody awesome!! Nice Ray too...You've got yourself a lovely collection!
21.
I've got a Qtron, and wondered if it is really worth spending the extra cash on a proper Mutron. How much better can it really be? Please share your experience/wisdom. If anyone has a mutron to sell, maybe gimme a shout. Cheers, Zak
I have a Mutron III to sell mate
22. Unfortunately my internet has been down this weekend, or I would have been on here ranting and raving sooner!! I am actually in love with this bass. Everytime I open the case my knees go weak Thank you Perry!!!
23. And back to the top!
