I have a DJ4 in white pearl with maple fingerboard, a DJ5 in black with a maple fingerboard, and a trans orange 3EQ Ray with a maple fingerboard They are all fantastic basses, I doubt I will sell any of them, unless I'm really badly in need of cash! I think I may have played this actual bass at the gallery a couple of weeks ago, it's a very nice player, and the setups at the gallery are very good! Do you know what pickups are in it? I have Aero pickups and a J-Retro in both my DJ's, and IMO they sound bloody awesome!! Nice Ray too...You've got yourself a lovely collection!

Ironically, I've found the tap tempo to be the most convenient to use, when it comes to the single stompers.

Be warned though, while the delay on the Headrush is ok, its quite basic. It's got the standards like tap tempo, repeats (and a nice high frequency damp for faux-analog sounds) it's just a bare bones delay with not many features. Absolutely shines as a Looper though. Most easy and intuitive pedal I've used. Awesome for quick on the fly stuff.

Rich is correct on all counts. No delay while looping, which is a bit of a shame, but at the end of the day it's got 3 independant modes, and in keeping with the size, only 2 footswitches, so turning on delay while looping wouldnt be possible.

+1 to everyone above Diago Powerstation, with a [url="http://www.diago.co.uk/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,39/category_id,3/manufacturer_id,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,206/"]18v doubler[/url] will double the voltage from 9v to 18v for the morley, only on the ouput you plug it on to. So the rest will still get 9V. Still works out cheaper than the DC brick too.

Hi mate, a pedal I had cool results from - especially for the Zender stuff - is the Crowther Prunes and Custard. Here's a sample I recorded a while ago running it through the AF-9 to try and cop the "Sir Psycho" tone: [url="http://media.putfile.com/Sir-Psycho---PC---Maxon-AF-9"]Sir Psycho Sexy[/url] And here's one with the P+C by itself, trying to emulate the synth tone on Deeper Underground by Jamiroquai: [url="http://media.putfile.com/Deeper-Underground---Prunes-and-Custard"]Deeper Underground[/url] As to the EBS vs the Mutron, I've only played with the EBS briefly, but it does have some rather cool filter sounds. It's a different beast to the Mutron though. The Mutron is the classic old school funky filter. I wouldn't use anything else now!

Well you definitely won't be getting the Sir Psycho Sexy sound without running some kind of dirt into the filter. The same goes for the Zender stuff. As a stand alone filter I absolutely love the AF-9. If I didn't have a Mutron III it would be the AF-9 sitting on my board. Try running some kind of fuzz into it!
