Yup I rather like it when companies have a sense of humour too. FWIW they stuck a price on it because often they are bought by collectors. I know this because I’ve been to their factory and seen many crazy experiments like this.

As I said, it’s just a bit of fun and basically click bait to get you looking at their website. They often experiment with different finishes and basically have a bit of a laugh making crazy one off basses. Why not? I don’t understand how anyone could call it stupid!

If buying from Amazon (Elixir strings, in particular) make sure they're sold and dispatched by Amazon, as many fakes are being sold by third party retailers (often they don't know it themselves)

Warwick do this kind of thing more to demonstrate their capability, so don’t take it too seriously. They do have some state of the art manufacturing techniques over there.

Here’s mine. I love bass gadgets so had to have one (got it cheap after chatting to the company ages ago). It’s really nicely made. Ok a piece of sponge has much the same effect but as Scott demos in the video, it’s not quite the same and not as consistent.

I used to have one, really liked it actually. Used it quite a lot but since then every bass I’ve had has had no room in front of the bridge for one!

Yeah each time he signs up he sends about 25 PMs to people who have recently posted a wanted ad. Luckily, because his behaviour follows a pattern we can get rid of him fairly easily. We’ve got a cunning plan that we think you’ll all find amusing so will let you know after we have a look this weekend.
