  1. I've just sent the email - it goes in batches so yours should arrive today at some point. I'm just finding out if I can paste the BC offer links on here as well.
  2. Merry Xmas Mr. Hall!
  3. No actually, I'll chase them up now
  4. Looks like the A string has just popped out of the nut and the seller didn’t notice for the photo.
  5. The best ones IMO are the recessed Dunlop type but they have to be installed by a pro. I like that when there's no strap attached there's no 'button' on the bass. Neat. Otherwise I use rubber washers on my other basses but those washers go over strap buttons that also accept the Dunlop strap if the need arises. So that's handy.
  6. 😍😍😍
  7. I think I made a big hole. The 13 pin connector I mounted on a plate to hide the hole. I’ve got a pic somewhere, I’ll add them.
  8. No idea - hopefully @charic knows?!
  9. With the GK in ‘mix’ mode (where I leave it, I don’t install the switch because I can switch it via the VB99) the pre-amp works when I’m using the magnetic pickups. Not sure how, I just followed the instructions!
  10. Great! Tell you what, if you don’t get an answer here try the Vguitar forums. It’s very active and there are some super knowledgeable people on there. They helped me out a lot 🤟🏻
  11. I’ve done it twice but only with an active preamp. Yes the power comes from the 13 pin cable. You can choose which bits to install, I normally have the up/down switches and assignable knob but not the LED. Not sure regarding active pickups; maybe you’d need a dummy 1/4” jack to activate them but I have a feeling it will work from the GK supply. If you post the installation pdf here I’m sure someone will be able to tell you. Good luck - what are you putting it in and what are you using it with? ped
  12. I don't like pinning threads because it's the best way to make sure the thread gets overlooked - forums are organic and if a topic is being discussed it stays relevant.
  13. Sign of the times - many of these master builders like Roger Sadowsky, Ken Smith and Michael Pedulla are thinking about the future. We should count ourselves lucky when there’s a sustainable plan. Warwick have some of the most advanced manufacturing in the world and I’m sure they can screw a neck on just as well as anyone else.
  14. Better
  15. Please don’t post this in lots of different forums - I’ve moved this question to the amps and cabs forum.
  16. Well you’ve got my attention
  17. Look out for an email update about the show next week - if you have unsubbed from our emails I'll put it here too. It's going to be an amazing show.
  18. Really cool... love that
  19. Just to complete the set lol
  20. Such a sexy shape isn't it. Shame but I think the bass needed a refret really, or at least a fret dress to get the action how I like it (low low low!)
  21. Some old ones I had then sold on - the Passion 4 (above) has seen them ALL off - I got lucky the first time round! Passion 5 Series III - Not really a five string player, didn't do it justice Passion series 3 'Delta Metal' fretless - beautiful, realised I can't play fretless Arpege series 1 fretless five - great idea; I'm not a five string payer or a fretless player... I wonder how I'll be on a five string fretless? Arpege series 2 - amazing bass, sold to buy my dream bass. Couldn't quite get the action right somehow Passion series 2 - again couldn't quite get the action as good as my '88
  22. That’s the one. I remember playing it when there was that bash somewhere under a bridge in Surrey I seem to remember. I had an OLP ray with status neck at the time and really liked your bass. You had it for a while didn’t you?
  23. It’s nice to think that if it ever got stolen the thief would be hounded for the rest of his life by a nationwide clan of sweaty hefty bass players 👍🏼 He’d end up sealed inside some old Trace cabinet in some damp rehearsal room. Probably.
  24. @obbm’s blue Stingray five with graphite neck always struck me as a famous BC bass. I think it still belongs to a basschatter.
  25. Guys please send trade offers by PM only. Thanks
