If it’s a bass I’ll always try and arrange a meet up half way. Driving the car is some of the only peace and quiet I get nowadays and I always prefer the buyer to try the goods first if I can. Normally a mutually convenient location can be found and combined with a day out somewhere. But I have posted before, it’s easy. Hard case (add the cost of a cheap one to the item price), foam and bubble wrap, bicycle box and tape. Unless I’m in a real rush though I’ll wait for a meet up scenario.

As long as you send it insured and 100% insist on this as a seller then it’s a lot easier to send it yourself and makes it much easier to sell your stuff.

It doesn’t disconnect that battery when you use the switch because if it did you’d get a loud pop when you switch on. I think. Also battery life should be thousands of hours in any case so just change it when you change strings or have a spare in your gig bag.

Hi folks I recently posted a discount offer for people to buy a yearly sub at 70% discount. It was meant to be for people who don't already have a sub, but unfortunately too many people paid when they already have a subscription, causing complications and a fair amount of legwork my end to stop renewals for two subs at once. It all got complicated and I've had to remove the offer for the time being until I can find a way of making it bullet proof for people who don't like reading instructions! Watch this space - If you had paid yesterday or today don't worry everything is sorted but I am not able to spend hours correcting issues where some ended up with two subs. Cheers ped

I don’t think they have a tone control for some reason so lots of people add them. Yes the SB body is lovely, like a slimmed down and more comfortable P.

G&L SB1 is the best P bass imo. Lovely things. Not just because I have one for sale!

Luckily my bass is graphite so easy to disinfect compared to wood which is probably harbouring Covid-19 in its pores.

We used to bodge our own version using a mixer and headphone splitter that worked ok. I loved playing like that, had some great jams (brother using nice Roland Vdrums)
