1. Very nice. You must have been chuffed at getting Rod Hull to pose with it like that too.
2.
I think that will end up over twice the amount that its at now.
Nope.
3. Got to love a pointy headstock.
4. One of my favourite bands. We cover about 7 of theirs - we're a 3-piece but we use a laptop for the keyboard bits. Seeman's going to stretch you....
5. I only play two types of music. Country and western.
6. I do, it just takes practise, knowing the bass line well, and knowing when to cheat the bass line if necessary.
7. I've got a black one of these. Seems to play fine and it gives that mwaaah sound quite readily. Intonation's a bit crap though....
8. These are excellent basses and this would be great value for anyone thinking of moving to a 6er.
9.
Actually, I think you can pretty much play the whole thing (except the solo) in one position!
Sitting down?
10. Well I'm glad that it's tabbed for 5-string, but what are all those black dots? Don't you know that you need to put the little numbers on it so that I know which fret to play?
11. You're obviously a total cock and, in my opinion, it's no wonder you don't get any serious responses. You can't introduce yourself in your first post on a public forum by laying down the law like that, and then expect the regular members to just let it ride. In my eyes you somewhat redeemed yourself in your second post, but then you started telling us all off again in your third.
12. Got the gig. Thanks for all of your help.
13. He wrote the book. I like this: He has performed and recorded with some of the leading British jazz musicians including as Jim Mullen, Iain Ballamy, Stan Sultzman, Janusz Carmello, Dave DeFries, Tim Whitehead and Roy Williams. His ambition is to play with one of these guys twice. Big respect. I'd love to write a book, but the commitment involved scares the life out of me.
14.
What's the neck radius?
About half a mile by the looks of it. Scary stuff. Nice wood though.
15. Good effort - very Opeth - I was waiting to hear the vocal..... I enjoyed the solo too.
16. Sounds like you should be careful if the screws are bigger in the original holders. Can you re-use them with the new holders? You can buy the Warwick wax from the website, but if you don't want to do that, here's a thread about alternatives. Nice bass, good luck.
