  2. What a fabulous collection.
  3. I would sympathise, but I don't understand your second paragraph at all, even after reading it three times.

  9. Email heads up for a new thread? That must drive you mental.
  10. I have circular relationship anxiety all of a sudden.
  11. I have a wish list that runs into £thousands.

  16. Our drummer has both an electric kit and an acoustic kit. The electric kit is superior in all of these aspects: - you can get 1,000 different sounds out of it - you can turn the drums down or up in the mix - the load in and out is an absolute piece of cake My heart always drops when he turns up with his acoustic kit and I know that we're going to have to crank everything to keep up with him, that's only after he's taken 45 minutes to set the flaming thing up.
  17. That'll teach me not to browse Basschat while I'm eating my lunch.

    RIP Leftysteve

+1 Any man whose wife thinks he was a 'truly wonderful man' clearly deserves our respect and grief at his loss.
  20. I take mine off when I play, because I'm scared it'll wear a groove in the neck somehow.
  21. I play fingerstyle hard enough to click the strings off the base of the neck. Sometimes I actually hit downwards onto the string over the base of the neck with the tips of my fingers (a la Ryan Martinie). I like it to be very percussive. That's about it really.
  22. It's Raining Blood, punk.
  23. Cripes, that 130 looks massive in the pictures.
  24. That's the scariest combo in the world.
  25. Completely not my sort of thing, but very nice bass work.
