1. bargain alert!! i had the PB1000 not that long ago, great board!! gives you GAS!!
2. Anyone used one of these before? I've had a read online about this little cab and it looks promising But have you guys ever used or even owned one? I'm looking at purchasing second hand and need some second/ third opinions and advice from the pros to ensure I get the best deal and don't have my pants pulled down!
3. Wow what a great thread. Lots of good tips and tricks here. I'm now slightly better than a 'cab kicker' hah!
4. Hah! These things are like gold bricks!! I wanted one for ages but then I just got a small micro mixer... Does the same thing basically !
5. Some of the cheap stuff is crap and horrible though... C'mon. Nothing wrong with behringer, the plasticy pedals are just less desirable than metal ones... Never tried the Amps though!
6. Play hyper music instead I like that one...
7. Understood but many famous people use a DS1 which I would never expect to pay £400 for!!!
8. Animato .. Is this the overpriced yellow dirt box from Japan? What does it do differently from others ????
9. some heat should soften them up but it sounds like your cables have had it. treat yourself to some new ones!
10. OC2??? People love that one!! I've never had one but they say its analog and ze besten!
11. Yeah the micro mixer in lieu of a loop line selector pedal works great! I have a soundlab mixer on my board !
12. Yeah.. Sort of. It's more complex than the NF1 unless my NS2 was shagged I dunno ! The NF1 just cuts the signal off as soon as the note falls below the set threshold... The NS2 kinda just made it quieter rather than chopping it off ... ??
13. I got it today !!! Yay Had a quick play around with it Really glitchy analog sounding chorus... Sounds a bit 'milky' Will make a demo of it on YouTube when I get some more time
14. Like with any high gain setup, it will almost always scream like a raep alarm Noise gate solves much of it. I use a boss NF1, really simple and effective. Tried a noise suppressor NS2.. That was kinda crap. The noise was still there, it just made it quieter. The noise gate just cuts it off dead
15. Yeah I had the same issue with it. Obviously a behringer design flaw the rubber feet thing solved it though
16.
I also have one of these, it does wobs. Quite well. Only real problem I have had with it is the switch often doesn't want to turn off, so I use a bypass looper to flick the whole chain off, problem solved. If you have tracking problems, stick a boost or a fuzz in front of it, and it behaves itself a lot better. As for the expression pedal, it would be useful, but a quick tweak with your hand will get the speed you want if you're skint, like me.
To solve the switching off issue, take the battery cover off, it's the little rubber 'poker' thing that sometimes misses the little button thing. Stick a rubber foot on the end of it or something to widen the footprint so it doesn't miss the little button thing. !!
17. How do you like your steak? Extra medium?
18. I've got the chorus now! Muhahaha.. Tuna will be with u tomorrow me ol chap. Woo BEERS
19.
In my experience, and through keeping eyes and ears open, I'd say go individual. That way you can choose the fuzz/overdrive YOU like best and same with compressor etc. it's pretty rare to see pedal boards with ALL the same brand pedals in, you mix and match to suit your sound. A multi is a great way to get lots of effects for one price, but the risk is you may like some but not all the effects you bought it for. Besides its a lot if fun buying, trying and selling on different pedals!
It's not that rare
New setup [Img]http://i.imgur.com/0WCPvs2.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> [Img]http://i.imgur.com/GiMqasS.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> [Img]http://i.imgur.com/s0UyEUz.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> Yeah.
20. My playing style is very sloppy. Although I own a precision bass hah!
