1. that's very pretty
2. haha ok good to know, yeah i'd say maybe £100-£150, depending on condition etc. But as always, it's worth what someone is willing to pay.
3. The 2 band vs 3 band argument can go either way in my experience, the two band is regarded as a more vintage sort of sound while the 3 band is more modern and versatile, neither is better than the other, but both very nice basses. That looks like a great example of a trans teal in great condition. Judging by the bridge and hardware etc looks like a '93 (or close) model. Looks like a 'flea bridge' actually, which to EBMM afficionados, is a little bit special. Have a gander here if you're not too sure what that means, should put your mind at ease if you're doubting if it's real or not. According to the seller he may have bought it used or old stock, but it's genuine for sure. EDIT: having looked at that site, it's a '92-'94 as that's definitely a 'flea bridge' Auction looks pretty legit, but as it's a first time seller, i would try and pay cash on collection, though the auction doesn't look dodgy in the least. If you like what you tried, i would definitely go for it.
4. yeah, lovely bass it is too. Listened to some recordings of my old one the other day, makes me wonder why i ever let it go!!??
5. £150 maybe? i hope you're not planning to fund a stingray with this alone, i'll assume you're not THAT naive...

13.
Selling stuff at Bash's is perfectly acceptable and makes good sense as people can try before they buy..
I agree, always a good idea as people can have a go. Plus, us BCers are buying and selling online all the time anyway, wouldn't make sense to exclude it from the real world
14. hi just thought i'd say this is indeed a swamp ash body, all the trans finish L-2000 tribbys are ash bodied and the solid finish ones are basswood IIRC
15. nice nice nice! That rosewood pickguard looks great, as does the rest of your rig! you have fantastic taste!
16. I'm going to be selling a morley pro series II bass wah, it's discontinued, not sure how old it is but in fairly good condition. It sounds great and works perfectly, but i never use it, hence the sale. I'm not much of an effects person. There are only two minor faults: 1. one of the wires had detached from the 9v battery connector, but i have soldered it back on, though it's not the best joint in the world so you may need to a bit careful when replacing the battery. 2. The washer and screw on bit on the outside of the input jack fall off when you pull the jack out, though it screws back in and it's perfectly stable when the jack is in there Now sold
17. Great bass and a good price, i sold mine recently for the same so yours should sell pretty fast
18.
Yeah did previously own an ad200 which is a lovely amp in it's own right plus it's lot lighter to carry than the gt200! In short, the matamp > than the orange. Tone is a subjective thing, but for me the matamp is perfect. Both good amps though. It's louder, has more depth, thicker tones, more snarl and is obviously extremely well made.. How much of the immediate tonal differences are attributed to the jj KT88s in my power section as appose to the 6550s in the orange, I don't know. The matamp is also definitely less 'peaky' than the orange in terms of the compression you get from the valves...smoother response, more natural sounding. I'll post some recordings when I can. I've got clips of the orange and the matamp somewhere....
What sort of music do you play? and can i be cheeky and ask how much they both cost? I'm loving my ABM, but in the not so immediate future, a full valve amp would be really cool
19. in case you forget what colour it is
20. Just thought i'd flag this up here, i have a sansamp para driver on ebay right now, ends tomorrow about 6pm ish, currently at £87 + £5 postage Link
21. i still think that kramer of yours is the dog's danglies
22. i tried simon's shuker at the bash, and it really is amazingly verstile (also due to the addition of that J pickup), but it did a great stingray sound, and all the rest! I really like my corvette $$ for just that reason too, but i'm not entirely sure if you can buy that specific preamp from MEC or what
23. oooh, that's just too cool, shame it doesn't have the pointy headstock
24. Saw this earlier, it's got a nice low BIN price on it, and a good bass for an intermediate player/someone getting into warwicks/anyone really! I'd be tempted myself if i wasn't spending all my money going to scotland shortly.
