1. it's not REALLY that big a gap....
 2.
Are they another one of these companies that seem to have the attitude of 'we don't do lefties because lefties don't buy our stuff', as so many?
There are a few lefties on the EB forum, they are introducing them to different models gradually, but as you said, the market isn't that large. The introduced a lefty john petrucci model this year at NAMM i think.
 3.
^ Didn't sell at £30 plus postage so you want £35 plus postage!? I'm confused
That was the starting price, the BIN was £50. It's worth more than £35 and that's what i want for it.
 4.
In defence of SB he does say at the very beginning that he's not wholly supportive of the idea, so it's a bit odd to lambaste him.
Oh come on, that forum is nothing but yes-men that praise his every idea. Don't get me wrong, i love EBMM basses but it does get a bit sickening on there reading comment after comment kissing his arse. He's a good businessman, i'll give him that, but i'd be lying if thought that those vintage-styled basses weren't his idea.
 5. pictures now!!!!!!!
 6. As nice as the seafoam one does look... I can't help but think sterling ball is a HUGE hypocrite, preaching about how he's apparently moving the industry forward and can't stand all these people obsessed with vintage/retro gear. *ahem*.
 7. bump for price drop - £35 + postage It didn't sell on ebay.
 8.
Don't have either of these anymore but this thread is really making me miss them and giving me some serious GAS! Going to have to start saving me thinks for a nice 5 string streamer or 6 string thumb!!! These were a great pair and sounded amazing through that rig.
So why did you sell them?
 9.
might as well just get an ESP viper bass. SoW maybe a bit more metal then you were looking for but i like it anyway.
I'm all for metal but the gibson looks better imo
 10. i think i want one!
 11. gorgeous one of my favourite colour/pickguard/fretboard combinations that get a pearloid pickguard on there!
 12.
So that's what it's called! The seller advertised it as Orange Sparkle Burst, but I couldn't find that colour anywhere. Thanks!
Yeah it's a gorgeous colour Burnt apple is another nice one in a similar vein. It's almost like black cherry burst but it's a sparkle finish, lovely
 13. i'd like an SGZ, they're gorgeous, stupidly rare though. only pic i could find on google:
 14.
Just looked back and you are pretty much bang on. I tip my hat to you sir.
Ashdown site generally tells you everything you need to know about that sort of stuff anyway, even on the discontinued models under 'legacy', just thought i'd give you a heads up And i wish i'd seen this sooner
 15. sweet rig, love the ashdown head, tried to get one of them but someone got there before me, they sound great though! (got the smaller, non-rackmounted, non-chromed one instead), and the bass is gorgeous! good pics too
 16. that's very nice nicest columbus i've ever seen, the neck looks great!
 17. Awesome, can't wait to see some in-the-flesh pictures
 18.
Nice! What year is it? (Guessing early to mid-90's?). Looks like you weren't parted for too long from it.
I think early 90's, they discontinued those bridges in '93. Great colour

 22.
Aye, not bad Duno where the "wooly" or unreliable rep came from, certainly not the case with mine...
Well my previous ashdown did blow up But not wooly at all!
 23. the paint job mostly, very punk Don't get me wrong though, it's a very nice rig just not necessarily my preferred colour scheme!
