1. Just took delivery of a Rothwell Love Squeeze compressor pedal and a set of Hicon patch leads from Simon this morning- very smooth & easy deal with great comms, fast shipping and goods exactly as described... thanks very much!
2. I took delivery of a Pedaltrain JR board (complete with Mono gigbag and PSU brackets) from Al a few days ago- great guy to deal with! Fast communication meant that I could arrange payment quickly, and in return, he had the goods packed up and dispatched the same day... amazingly, the parcel arrived on Christmas Eve morning, way ahead of schedule for the festive period! Highly recommended, and I would certainly deal with Al again
3. I just took delivery of a Gallien-Krueger MBX 112 cab from Mike this morning- an excellent seller, just as others have said!
4. Gareth just took delivery of my K&K Bassmax pickup- he paid quickly and was a pleasure to deal with!
5. Rick took delivery of a pair of Jazz Bass pickup covers from me this afternoon, and was an absolute gentleman to deal with! I was only asking £2 for them both including the postage, but Rick insisted on throwing in a bit of extra cash to make it worth my while... a small, but massively appreciated gesture He's one of the good guys people, deal with total confidence! Etienne
6. This is a superb pickup, which I'm only selling as I upgraded to the K&K Rockabilly Plus system (based on the same Bassmax pickup) a couple of months ago for a tour, and this hasn't seen any use since. The pickup is in very good functional and cosmetic condition. I've strategically reinforced the cabling neatly with black heatshrink tubing, to give more strain relief and to make it a bit more roadworthy (e.g. when swapping between instruments), so it's all ready to go to work. I'm looking for just £45 for this, including UK postage. No offers please! ***EDIT: NOW SOLD*** Please PM me with any inquiries/questions, and thanks for looking. Etienne
7. ***SOLD*** Found these whilst having a recent clear-out... I bought them on Ebay a while back, thinking I was getting a neck/bridge cover set, but ended up with two neck covers instead... Both covers are unused. External dimensions for both are identical: 92mm width, 19mm length, 19mm depth. Yours for two quid posted! No offers please PM me if interested, thanks! Etienne
8.
All good thanks Etienne; hope you are doing well too?
All's well here in Liverpool, thanks for asking!
9.
wow this is a serious beauty. love the paddouk since Aria's SB...
It really is a beauty! It's hard to capture the true colour, but the second row of photos from the top gives you a pretty good idea
10.
Lovely bass in superb condition for it's age, excellent for sale advert and a very honest and long-standing Basschatter... What's not to like? GLWTS
Thanks for the props Nik! Hope you're well
11.
This is a superb instrument, someone will be very happy. Glad you got the buzz sorted out, I can't believe I got that wrong.
It is indeed Gary- you know the instrument far better than I do! The buzz was a really easy fix once my flatmate and I worked out what the source of it was- to be honest, you did a grand job putting it back together, so a couple of crossed wires is not a big deal

13. Just taken delivery of Antony's Bergantino HD210- a nice and easy deal for a superb cab! Good comms, and the goods arrived very well-packed and as described... great stuff ☺️
14. Giulio recently bought a Darkglass Vintage Microtubes pedal from me, and it was a pleasure to deal with him! Excellent communication from him throughout the process, and he paid precisely when he said he would too- was also happy to cover the additional shipping costs to courier the goods to him in Italy. It's rare that I deal with BC members outside of the UK, but I'm glad I gave this friendly Italian guy the benefit of the doubt! Recommended
15. Michael just bought a Nordstrand pickup from me- another straightforward deal done on BC!
16. I bought this 2nd-hand on the forum last September to use on a tour, but ended up not needing it... since then, it's been sat in my flat and has seen very little use, so I'm moving it on. USA-built model, in good cosmetic condition, and works perfectly. Comes boxed, with instructions/settings card. The serial number is hidden beneath the Velcro tape, but don't worry- I wrote it down before covering it over! Looking for £120 for this, including UK mainland postage. Price is firm- no offers please. Please PM if interested, and thanks for looking. EDIT: Now sold- thanks! Etienne
17. I bought this less than a fortnight ago from Bass Direct to compare against my existing P pickup- after (very carefully) installing it and comparing, I found that I still marginally preferred the tone of what I already have, so this is now up for sale. Make no mistake though- this is a great sounding, well-built P-Bass pickup, and definitely nails the vintage voicing that Nordstrand were aiming for when they designed it. The pickup is in 9.5/10 condition, with very little sign of it being installed- no wires have been trimmed. The pickup covers and screws are completely unused! Comes boxed in the original packaging. Should any potential buyers not like the appearance of the branded, modern-look covers, the pickups themselves will also fit into standard Fender-type covers no problem- I will include a well-used but functional set of these in the sale as a bonus Bass Direct currently sell these for £115 shipped... I'm looking for just £95 for this, which includes UK mainland postage- a handy discount if you're considering buying a new one! Price is firm- no offers please. EDIT: Now Sold. Please PM me if interested, and thanks for looking. Etienne
18. I recently bought a beautiful Wal Custom from Gary- we arranged the deal via PM/email back in February whilst I was away on tour, and I finally collected the bass from his house on Saturday. It was great to meet Gary in person, and to have a good chat with him about music over a brew. I can happily confirm that he makes an excellent cup of tea too... I had a second one just to be sure The Wal looks and sounds fantastic, and I'm very pleased to be able to give it a good home for the foreseeable future. Massive thanks to Gary for a smooth deal, and for being a good egg
19. I bought a Fender P Bass Special from Peter whilst I was away on tour last month- we arranged the deal, payment and shipping online, and I finally got to play it this morning upon my return... it's exactly as described, and at a very fair price too. Peter was extremely helpful and prompt throughout our communication, and he made sure that the bass was immaculately packaged for the courier too... couldn't have asked for more really Needless to say, deal with Peter with confidence! All the best mate, Etienne
20. Jon recently bought a Diago Micropower9 & daisy chain from me- fast, no-hassle payment and great comms... he's a good egg indeed!
21. Lee recently bought a Radial Bigshot I/O from me... another excellent Basschatter! We had a slight hiccup with the payment due to Tesco's over-zealous card fraud squad cancelling his transaction to me for some strange reason, but all got sorted in the end! Although Lee was in no way to blame, he was very apologetic for the delay caused, and couldn't do enough to make things right, with open, fast communication all the way through. A real good egg, and I recommend him without hesitation!
