In all honesty, the one for £25 looks like it’ll do the job, but then to me it looks pretty damn similar to the one that’s £200. I literally do not have a clue what it is that I need to look for when buying a router for this kind of thing. Dewalt are very good quality tools, but are very expensive,i would go for a mid priced well known brand, just make sure you buy a decent bit for it,you are going to need a tungsten morticing bit.
5. Dead easy buy the best router you can afford. You tend to get what you pay for with tools.
6. From what i have seen shergold 4 stringers dont go much above 350,i wouldnt know with an 8 string.Maybe a shergold collector would pay a lot.
7.
A synth is the worst invention ever. It makes annoying, tinny, bleepy noises and was used by every prog rock band in the 80's. Today it has been adopted by bands desperate to be signed and think they're down with the kids.
You are joking of course. I would not describe the lush huge chordal pads in the blade runner soundtrack as "tinny" or "bleepy" the yamaha cs-80 that made these sounds has monster bass,i think you might be thinking of casio.
8. The only true way to control a synth would be fitting a midi pickup which is amazing fun.The only other way is to get an audio in synth like a mini or korg ms20 and you can use the synths filters on your bass.
9. wikipedia it,its a very in depth topic, failing that download some human league or daft punk .A synth is basically a way of manipulating electricity into different sounds using filters and oscilators. Most dance rave electronic type music makes use of them, you can get some amazing sounds from them.
10. 20 quid is crap,i would have taken the stage manager hostage.
11. Tung or linseed would do it just as well.
12. Watch a film called bird directed by clint east eastwood its a bit more jazz than the jazz singer,i wouldnt class neil diamond as jazz myself.
13. Ill have a look,i like liebman better than miles on a couple of tracks.
14. Not a fan,i preferred the work Nick beggs did with kajagoogoo,im not joking.
15.
What's wrong with that? The band'll be less broke and the fans'll get to see them. Win-win, surely?
And it will be nice to see those lovely hairstyles again.
16. I love jazz its the only music that really takes me out there,in some ways i think it influences all other genres of music.Im not keen on trad though, the mad 70s fusion stuff miles did with dave liebman doing his mad snake charming sax is my favourite stuff.
