  1. I dont think anyone is insinuating that gay people are more likely to be paedophiles or Hebophiles. Tbh i think you are being a bit hysterical about this.Studies conducted tend to indicate that most paedophiles or Hebophiles are wired in a regressive state amongst other complex theories.
  2. Their are huge amounts of evidence that Michael Jackson was gay. Study the trial information which i had to do. Jacksons father and family were hugely homophobic.
  3. I currently work in safeguarding myself and also do work for Social Services. You can do anything you want if you have money. Unfortunately this includes abusing children. Jackson was obviously a gay man who had an obsession with young boys. I know people dont want to believe it and i still love Off the wall and Thriller but after looking deeply into the evidence presented in the case i was pretty much convinced. The frightening thing is Pederastry has been going on since the dawn of humanity and people just being disgusted, outraged or trying to set fire to these people and chase them with vigilanties (which hinders prosecution cases more than helps)will just drive them more underground. I myself am starting to think that unfortunately and abhorrent as it is that people might be born like this.As i say shocking but working in the job i do people on the outside just do not realise how prevelant in society it is.
  4. Yes kids are you out of your tiny minds? He helped me cross the road.
  5. A little Boogie Woogie was brilliant it was a shame for The Glitter Band as they were good players.. I cant believe people are so suprised about him. There are still equally dodgy people on terestial tv that millions of people adore on a Saturday night. They follow like sheep making these people millions and people like Max Clifford are the master engineers.
  6. Thankyou Rob that's very decent of you mate. I checked the stuff I had done but as soon as I get nozzles on Wednesday I will soldier on. I have checked youtube tutorials aswell so will let you know as soon as I am sorted the PLA is 1.75mm jayo in black. I have the printer on kitchen bench. The guy I bought it off upgraded to all metal extruder. I suppose it will be just a learning curve so if I can message you would be great. Again thanks for your help mate. Mark.
  7. I have done all this mate. I'm using PLA. Ordered new nozzles. Thanks though.
  8. I bought an Ender 3 v2 second hand last week I have a feeling I need new nozzle as I tried a benchy with a couple of tweaks and it was really bad. I did a temp tower which was fine at 230 temp but rubbish at lower temps. Any advice would be most welcome. Main problem seemed to be delamination and rough layers also splattering of filament. Think I levelled the bed fine though.
  9. I can't help thinking that a lot of the anti slap brigade are people who can't do it.
  10. Genius bass player. I love TV themes and incedental music so he's up there with Ron hazlehurst. The theme to Bergerac is outstanding tasteful playing. Just got into fretless and he's probably one of the reasons.
  11. Was having my usual male grooming routine and usually mix an oil and mosurizer then apply liberally after bath. Recently started using Palmers cocoa oil just as general moisturiser on my hands. Tried to play after fingers hadn't dried out yet and I have to admit it did help me move around on the fretboard alot and slides were effortless. Anybody tried it?
  12. Judging by what I found online and mrs fb page I think poor old Louis had a bit of a battle with with the bottle for his remaining years. Shame considering how many amazing records he did I think he died fairly skint.
  13. I do think the simple set up helps as well I can go through everything I have including filters on hardware synths which is interesting but limit myself to 1 pedal normally chorus or octave even just going through an uncoloured studio monitor sounds so much better. On the subject of preamp why are not more people selling filter based preamp they are so much better.
  14. Thanks Frank legendary comment. Are you a Buddhist mate.If not that was very sage like.haha.
  15. Thanks mate It's amazing how everyone who has commented so far is exactly in line with how I feel. It's just taught me how to listen again. I don't think I have properly listened for years. The guy who mentioned the lined thing was right aswell as you have to nip it a few mil left or right of the marker and I always though I was tone deaf! It's like the instrument is teaching me to pay again.
  16. I hear you man. Fretless is an incredibly meditative experience. Its like hardly any drums just a big airy pad behind it and I leave open strings or a harmonic while Trying to play something sparse and meaningful over the top. It's a bit like singing I suppose.
  17. Thus is so true it immediately made me listen more than just playing my usual "patterns" Sounds airy fairy but I felt much more of a connection with it. I'm so used to 16th note type 70s obscure funk at like 104 bpm it's very difficult to just slow down. People have problems playing faster I have the opposite. Sometimes it just sounds amazing when I do though.
  18. I have recently tried to make an impact on myself with fretless, it's lined. I have a massive love hate relationship with this thing. My normal lying around for noodling fretted bass has gone back in his case for the last 2 months and just now feels bizarre and club like when I pick it up. Whenever I play the fretless it either sounds like tuneless mud or sometimes I get flashes of brilliance and go to bed buzzing. One thing I have noticed is I am a very busy player on my fretted bass but the fretless has really slowed me down. I try to play like karn rather than Jaco. Did anybody else find this? Also any tips on making the transition? I did not realise what a totally different instrument it is. Sometimes I turn the drum machine off and just listen to the beauty of the wood against the strings. I have no problem getting the Mwah though as I use a lot of vibrato on guitar anyway.
  19. Couple of mates who were better when I was playing guitar. Then just listening a lot to Simon Gallup and Bernard Edwards and also hip hop when I started. Once Ii was shown how improvisation works I was away.
  20. Very impressive as was Jaco but why the hell anybody ever wanted to play this on bass in the first place is beyond me. Just sounds like noodling. I have a bit of a love hate thing with Mr Pastorius.
  21. I tried txt to image stuff tonight and that wasn't great. I suppose it's in its infancy. It won't do anything risky or rude by the looks of things.
  22. I had it writing poems and songs the other night. I have to admit I was pretty impressed.
  23. So nobody really then? What a let down.
  24. Best Kebab really do the best kebabs there. Wendy lives in the street down from my parents in their village in northumberland in fact she told me my exhaust was falling off last month. She came to my mates 21st in the 90s wearing an amazing jacket with the crucifixion scene on the back.
  25. Does anybody know anything much about Bobby Cauldwell and his early original band? I have just discovered the guy and he has some really cool smooth grooves behind him in the 70s and early 80s.
