  1. Four strings for all of my bass playing career, never had the need for a fiver in any of the bands I have played in.
  2. These, they last for ages.
  3. Wishbone Ash on Thursday evening, packed house of people of a certain age. This is the Live Dates Album tour, an evening of their fabulous well known tracks. Great musicianship all round with a superb sound mix out front.
  4. It looks like a PRS to me, probably one of the most versatile guitars. Nowt wrong with a PRS.
  5. Yes, I have to agree with you there, I guess I like it due to the different arrangements of his classic songs as something different from him.

  7. Italian on mine as well, I thought it was some sort of scam and immediately shut down my iPad.
  8. Surely the packed out hall last night, answers that Mickey.
  9. That was brilliant, really enjoyed it, the full orchestra really fitted with the genre of Northern Soul.
  10. Cozy was best man at Bernie’s wedding.
  11. What a beautiful live version of an 80’s classic by Nik Kershaw. It really stirred some emotions listening to it.

  16. Excellent cover version of the Journey song Separate Ways. Fabulous vocals from Daughtry and Lizzy Hale. And live at the Albert Hall, performance and sound quality is top class.
  17. Can’t see the Stratford On Avon marriage lasting very long, the guy sounds an absolute chocolate starfish.

  20. So, it’s basically the kids that are the problem 🤔
  21. Definitely rock, went a bit softer in the 80’s, this is their earlier stuff, it’s certainly not pop.
  22. You have missed probably one of the best - Ann Wilson of Heart.
  23. I played in a Free tribute band, at one gig a lady during interval asked if we did any Phil Collins.
  24. That’s a coincidence, I was learning to play Billy Jean earlier in the week just for a bit of fun. This guy explains it really well and definitely hit on about a synth playing the added octave. I like the version two starting on the second fret of the E string, that’s the version I learnt, it’s a pig of a song due to the repetitive nature of it, you cannot afford to fall out of time, otherwise it falls apart.
