    If it excludes strings and leads, I could do nine years. I’m totally happy with my MarkBass amplification and my MM Stingray, had them for years, nothing barring them falling apart would warrant me replacing them. If it’s anything relating to my motorcycle, then that’s another matter.

    I remember playing a gig at a village pub many years ago and we had already played two encores, the punters were adamant that we played Black Dog again, so they passed a glass around to get us to do it. Not bad, that one song earned us just over £50 when we checked the contents of the glass.

    Dave Stewart, that brings back some old prog memories, seen him play in the band called Egg, 29th February 1972, I’m pretty sure he was also in the band Khan.
