1. UK based sellers are somehow always more hesitant to ship outside the UK... I have always wondered why. I sent instruments from NLD all around the globe see, never any problem. So how come?
2. Don't let anyone tell you what is good for rock and what is not. Anyone who attempts to is clearly more of an asshole then he will ever be a musician.
3. Haven't clicked the link but you must be talking about Marta. I like her vids because you can see she's having a good time playing bass. To me that is a lot better then most of those showoff hey-I-can-play-like-wooten vids out there.
4. Ow I'm fine! Thanks for asking buddy. Here's some eyecandy....
5. Any reason to buy a bass is a good reason, within reason of course.
6. Hello Basschat btw. It's been quite some time. My Dolphin Pro1 is getting a custom truss rod, just got a call the materials for constructing one are on their way. The original removable two way aluminium truss rod does work but not good enough. Replacing it with a one way rod that has more strength and range.
7. That '84 is in AMAZING condition man. Nice!
8. Update. The fretless still hasn't happened yet due to err well... Stuff. Ric has been getting the extra shielding which destroyed any humming going on. Warwick Dolphin 5 is at the doctors getting a custom made truss rod. Oh and I did get some extra basses in the shape of a new Nate Mendel sig Fender P and a 1998 EBMM Sterling bass. It kills. Here's some pics
9. Darkglass B3K. Kills any other dirtbox period.
10. I have one of those. Great, punchy & powerful sounding bass!
11. Custom homemade board. Most stock board sizes are clumsy. Yes it is a bit MXR heavy...
12. Setting up a Ric properly is tedious and time consuming but once you have the low action and just a little bit of delicate fret buzz it kills.
13. Garey nowadays works for Mesa Boogie and was replaced in march 2013 by Jesse who is at Warwick USA.
14. Don't know about this forum but he is active on both Talkbass and Forum.warwick.de.
15. Your Ric chose the wrong player. Oh and Rics sound awesome on a proper setup but you gotta dig in to pull out that tone.
16. Oh crap I was bored with no effects at all and threw this lot together in the little box of fx from my huge pile of stompboxes today...
17. Mine was actually manufactured somewhere around '99 or 2000. It has green rat fur. Sounds really good though! I picked it up this morning.
18.
What's that rated at? 8ohm? Wow if I added that to my 1x15 GP7 3x15?? it would rip my clothes off LOL
1524t specs 400 watt RMS 2x15" cabinet. 19. What is this "lightweight" crap everyone cares about so much nowadays? Not heard a single one of these class D lightweight toys produce any desirable tone! So what the amp weighs 20 kilograms, is sounds da bomb! Since when is 20kg too much for a grown man to carry anyway... Whimps.
20. Haha dull and muddy. Get outa here! Trace amps are renown for their clarity, punch and aggressive pre-shape tone.
