  2. Very interesting Ashdown video with James Lomenzo. Definitely worth a watch... Amp... ...and a new Hyperdrive pedal being worked on?

  4. Yep, I did the same with the switches and master volume.
  5. Cool, that's the new version. Is it still passive eq? I had the original CTM 100. The eq was useless but luckily it didn't need it as it sounded brilliant. Definitely loud enough to gig in a rock band using an ABM15 or a Barefaced Four10.
  6. I've been using a Boss CE5, very flexible and good enough for Simon Gallup.
  7. That's awesome! What's the body wood and is it a standard size precision body? Cheers
  8. EMG JJ! I was watching an alt rock band a couple of weeks back and the bass player had recently dropped a set of these in his jazz... it sounded great, I did say to him at the time that the sound reminded me of my old Spector, also loaded with EMG pickups... and as everyone knows, Spector are the sound of rock 😄
  9. The Orange 4 Stroke is one to consider... https://orangeamps.com/4-stroke/ An excellent amp, unfortunately no longer manufactured. If any one has 500w I'd be very interested in buying it.
  10. That is exactly why I bought it. Banshees are one of my favourite bands.
  11. Boss pedals are reliable. They are very tough pedals and work well. The flanger wasn't for me but I still use other Boss pedals on my board... some times I'll also throw in my original Clone Theory.
  12. I had the Boss Flanger BF3 but sold it pretty quickly. When in use it drowned everything out and made the sound really thin. I now use an MXR Flanger, the big grey one. It's excellent.
  13. Nah... photoshop that like. They don't exist.
  14. Fender USA Jazz pickups and Fender USA 3 band preamp on original Fender jazz plate removed from an early 2000 USA Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe. £100
  15. It's over taken the moon landings for conspiracy theories...
  16. It'll be out of date by the time it lands in the UK.
  17. I believe it is one of the original factories. I've had my Solovair 12 years and they are still bullet proof. Top quality and money well spent.
  18. Great call on both counts! I've owned both and both will do all that shiz.
  19. 215... yes, 215 British Pounds. Blimey Charlie, that's crackers!
  20. For sale... Fender USA Jazz Bass Deluxe. Black n Maple. Upgraded with Dimarzio Jazz Pickups and Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp. This improves the sound massively. Comes with original Fender hard case and gold scratch plate. This Bass is used and has the dings etc you would expect to see on a well used guitar. By far the the easiest bass to play I have ever owned. Trade for USA Musicman Sterling 4HH in the black n maple, would also consider
