Comes with original box and certificate of authentication signed by Simon Gallup. The bass is used but is still in great condition. Other than some fading of the paint to the rear, it looks nearly new. Once on you can't see that anyway. Fitted with Grover Tuners and EMG TBHZ from the factory it plays and sounds fantastic. Collection from Hartlepool, can possibly hand deliver to Scotland and the North.

    I've found myself in a metal core band following a successful audition on Sunday. The band play in BEAD so I strung my bass in a cheap set of Rotosound 50 -110 stainless strings for the audition. Which worked OK on my Streamer SII but they never really sounded very bright. What's the options for strings or what are people using when down tuning? Cheers

    I've very recently imported a bass from Japan it was definitely close to this. Very efficient service until it lands at customs in the UK, that's when the fun starts, not with the seller, Fedex on the other hand... clueless.

    I started with an original, early one, it sounded great but did make a noise when switching in and out. I now use the Clone Theory on a Zoom MS60B... Old photo, the pedal board is a lot tidier than that now...

    I've been doing that for years. Big sound. Billy Sheehan Deluxe with a Boss CE5 in the drive loop... bang that through a Clone Theory. I sometimes throw in a MXR Flanger as well for a laugh.

    They come as standard with the 734a and BBPH, probably a few others too. Really good quality, I use it for all my basses.

    I have a Schecter Simon Gallup Ultra Bass, the EMG TBHZ pickups sound excellent, the build quality is great and it's a nice weight. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bass to anyone looking for a Thunderbird type bass. I much prefer it to the Epiphone Thunderbird I had previously. You will need a very long strap if you want maximum cool, though.
