  1. Cool, I very nearly pulled the trigger on one last month. I look forward to your review.
  2. An interesting blog for new goth/post punk releases... https://gothpostpunkrevival.blogspot.com/2021/07/gothpost-punk-revival-best-new-july.html?m=1
  3. I don't get it, what is special about 34" bass?
  4. This got plenty of air time when I was at Sixth Form... Go
  5. That's fantastic. I'm tempted, I bet it sounds great.
  6. Great band, I really like the early stuff. I've seen them live a couple of times and thought they were very good.
  7. I had one, I didn't sound like a Trace Elliot and wasn't as loud as the numbers suggest but was perfect to use with a quality pre amp and was well built.
  8. The nearest that I have tried was a GK Fusion 550. The big one not the Class D. It reminded me of a Trace Elliot as soon as I started playing through it, I should really buy one instead of trying every other amp on the planet. Lol.
  9. I would have loved to see Bauhaus live back then. One of my favourite bands.
  10. Amp head and new cabs?...
  11. Looks like 1200w. I need try one...
  12. Just spotted it on Facebook. Very interested in seeing and hearing more info this amp.
  13. I tried my 1225v through my Four10, it was ok but certainly lost something from the original sound. It wouldn't be a set up I would use.
  14. Are they any good for metal?... yes, that's all they are good for after watching those videos. It's an interesting looking amp head, I look forward to watching a proper demo video.
  15. If it's any thing like the Orange 4-Stroke, it'll be very loud and very good.
  16. What about the TC BH800 on offer at Andertons £249. It looks like a bit of a bargain.
  17. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  18. Forbidden Planet! I still have a Judge Dredd cap that I bought from that shop in 1986...
  19. I agree 100% with you, I owned one of the early Peavey era Trace heads and it sounded excellent. I've never seen anyone gig an Elf, but I have seen plenty of old Trace Elliots. ...and fingers crossed for Mesa, I hope they survive.
  20. What range of amplification would that be and what great things are they doing with the brand? I thought they only make a 200w class D amp that doesn't have the Trace Elliot sound. It's an ok amp but just a toy compared to the original Trace gear.
  21. Maybe it does sound normal... maybe it's the amp making it sound normal? Anyhow... I'm still interested in the Mesa
