  1. Not sure why message not working, sorry guys. My email is [email protected]
  2. 300w class B Orange amp with soft flightcase. Definitely loud enough. Collection or will travel reasonable distance to meet in the middle.
  3. Berg lightweight 2x12 cab with matching soft cover. Amazing cab, all you will ever need. Selling as I don't gig anymore. Collection or will travel reasonable distance to meet in the middle.
  4. Bump - will take £250. It is a fantastic cab.
  5. Hardly used but surplus to requirements. It is a beast with loads of punch. It's a 4ohm model so perfect 1 cab solution. List price new is near £1k. I'm in Swansea but could meet halfway if the offer is right.
  6. Bergantino 6x10 with padded cover. Immaculate condition. Huge sound. Worth £1200 new. Priced for quick sale as it won't fit in my new car.
  7. Didn't need to go back to the manufacturer as Andertons (the dealer) have agreed to repair the cab! Result! Obviously I can now not speak highly enough of Anderton's customer service!
  8. cheers for the advice, i'll let you know what happens!
  9. I've been dealing with the dealer I purchased the amp from, who have in turn dealt with Ashdown. The shop are fully aware as the amp also blew a 1x15 ashdown cab I bought off them at the same time (second hand). The dealer has repaired that cab already. Will definately ask them as can't really afford to replace the speakers in the 2x10.
  10. Had a reply from the Ashdown repair guy, it makes no sense to me but they said: "The power amp pcb had gone down. One of the main smoothing capacitors had failed to start with and took the output devices with it. Have now replaced the complete power amp pcb"
  11. I recently bought an ashdown abm500 evo III. It quickly developed a fault and blew an ampeg 2x10 cab that I already owned. Where do I stand legally as the item i bought damaged something I already owned. Can I claim against ashdown? Cheers
  12. Did you resolve the issue with your Ashdown? I've had a similar problem with a new ABM500 Evo III. I set it up with an ABM 1x15 cab in the house, played at low volume for 5 minutes when the sound cut out. Signal still getting through, VU meter moving etc. Tested the speaker and found it had blown. Relieved it was the speaker rather than amp, I sent it back for repair. Subsequently used amp with an Ampeg 2x10 classic (300w, 8ohm) at a gig. Half way through the 1st half the sound cut out again. Could continue as signal still going through DI and into pa. Tested speakers again and found they were blown. The shop has now taken the amp back for a "repair". On a side note, does anyone know where I stand legally if the amp I bought was faulty and has blown a cab I already owned? Cheers! Dave
