    as above, i have my orange terror bass 500, but im really an ampeg guy so i'd like to do a swap. the orange costs a little more than the ampeg so i'd be looking at like 65 quid my way as well. im based in leeds, so someone nearby would be a massive bonus. any takers? will post pictures tonight. i know the ampegs have had problems with cut outs etc, this isnt a deal breaker for me but i'd like to know beforehand if you've experienced any problems etc

    im going for the apogee jam (with lightning to 30 pin adaptor) and amplitube for jamming, then multitrack DAW and audiobus (with compatible apps) to bash up some demos

    i just did exactly the same thing a couple of days ago! built myself a lovely double tiered board from the ikea gorm shelves and sprayed it black! worked great so im going to build another one this weekend

    i have the wizard hammers in my black shuker 4 bass, they are insanely good, nice and strong in the low mids, less of the vintage jazz ZING and light growl my '75 RI jazz had, but a meatier and lower kind of growl, just as aggresive

    I use the same looper just for sampling! It's fantastic because you can cycle through samples with your feet

    yeah! im really looking forward to the vintage! ive got one on order and plan on using it as a preamp (using a boss parametric EQ for shaping) i really want to hear the differences with the ERA knob

    Yeah, if price is an issue then try the b3k it's the same drive circuit just without the EQ or DI

    I got a strap made by a guy in Wales or somewhere Mine is a thin vintage style one but he also made them like the one you mention, he took down his site but I might still have his email somewhere, I was planning on getting another one from him

    Can't seem to find anywhere that sells a gig bag to hold two basses!! The mono dual case is out of my price range so looking for cheaper alternatives

    I've got a darkglass vintage microtubes coming in January and it sounds like what you're after, there aren't any soundclips at the moment, but based on how much I love their b3k I dove right in!
